so theese are the currently the 2 scripts i have i was gonna make it when he unsheathes the server to communicate to the client that the input happened so it parent the sword to the tool and put a motor 6d on it but am not fully sure if thatll work this is what i curretnyl have

You can make the animiation with it or try to add the sword to the hand

I believe what most games do is they have 2 swords, one on the hand and one on the root part

In the sheathe/unsheathe animation make an animation marker for when to swap

#

Then just make one visible and one invisible

i was doing that now am struggling on why the other sword is not position to my arm when i put it on

and as am typing this i think i just found out a solution

my idea is to make both spawn in when ur apperance loads using the event but make one of them transparent and depending on if ur equipping or sheathing itll change the transparency when hes putting the sword back at a certain point of the animation using animation events
