😂😂
Awesome
I wanna like it and dislike it at the same time 🗿 It looks overly saturated imo
All okay
the actual models look good but the final product doesn't look as good
😂😂😂
Fair enough
I did feel that the saturation was a bit much
You ain’t wrong about that
I’m not the best when comes to photoshop ngl
someone who can take actual constructive criticism 🗿 everyone gets mad when I give constructive criticism normally
But did what I could
When I get back home I’ll see what I can do… but trust me after so many hours you kinda get tired of seeing your project 💀💀💀💀
Why do they get mad?
idfk, guess they can't accept that their work isn't perfect

Fair enough, I believe there’s always room for improvement
here is a good example: #1237416627914674290 message
Ahhh I see
well, what rank are you trying to go for? There's 4 levels to each category
I ain’t looking to go for any, I was just wondering
and I've been scripting for over 3 years but I'm only S2 so that should tell you how difficult it is to get higher levels
alr well
you could probably get modeler level 2
but they kinda gatekeep the shit outta the levels anyways so keep that in mind
🐸what that mean
level 4 is really really good at modeling, level 1 is noob at modeling
but each category (like scripting, modeling, building, etc.) has 4 levels to it
And what is a level 4 work look like?
god I wish I had reference pictures but it's absolutely insaane
Got it
I'll find some for you
one min
I'd imagine this is level 3
#🔥︱featured message this might be level 4 material
Ah that looks pretty nice
Ahhh I seee
probably because of the arms model that goes along with it. Hands have a lot of small details, and you can see a lot of small details on it and stuff
anything that shows a lot of skill, it just happens to be that realistic stuff shows a lot of skill
A h
there is stylized work, but stylized work is generally less difficult than realistic work
I kindly disagree
They both have their difficulties
I mean if you're talking about texturing and small details, there's plenty more on realistic work than work stylized like this
like the small dust particles you see on the arm here, the different shape for the cuffing of the hand and the lines that go up and down the cuffs
But there’s some that you’d have so hand paint… or do procedural work
yea that's why I said they generally are less difficult than realistic work
That’s mostly through cloth sim
I'm generalizing
I guess?
I'm sure there's a lot of styles more difficult than realistic, but for the most part, realistic styles are what's gonna be most impressive to the average viewer who is only looking at the end product and doesn't know the process of making those models or textures
Fair enough
That I can give you
and that's why I think realistic style work is praised so much more than cartoony work
that's my opinion though
No you’re right
It shows more details and etc in the final result of course
But stylized has so many complications, because they’re fictitious and it’s kind of hard to bring something non existent to life
😂 idk how to explain it
But it just it has so many details, specially when it comes to shaders
btw I just noticed this, the wood texture here is going in 2 different directions
💀
on top, the texture is going horizontally, then the texture is going vertically on the sides
Yeah, not very realistic, but I didn’t mind as much
Many part has those issues
I didn’t want to be overly realistic nor pay attention to all issues, as long as everything overly looked decently nice was what mattered to me
If it were to be meticulous with everything, I’d be very bored.
I only consider those tasks when I’m doing it for a client
Love it
this got that AI art style 🔥
