the problem is the amount of rules that aren’t written
there are very specific things how to moderate use if the ‘n-word’
which most wouldn’t be able to explain in rules without sounding informal or improper
🤑
@weak osprey make this a reality, because you can supposedly be warned for "useless polls" even if it is just a singular poll in #💬︱general
and it's not in the fucking rules
I approve
What are some unwritten rules? All the public warns I've seen were violations of the clearly listed rules (in the essentially hidden rules channel)
client modifications is a good example
they also change they rules on that quite a bit
there's a rule that says follow discord tos
but then this server doesn't ban for client mods
except some some cases where they're using it for nefarious purposes?
it's not stated anywhere, how it's moderated is memory from when i was a mod (and asking management)
consistent enforcement is good, so yeah the "follow tos" should probably be made into numbered rule(s)
Are there any others?
client mods, "useless polls", the way you have to word your marketplace post, warns for "misusing" a channel for sending a singular off topic message, verbal warning discretion being up to mods, etc
i wouldn't be whining if they had a clause like this though
Also "you cant make people pay more to make an asset exclusive" is an unlisted marketplace one. 2 images isnt max when making a for hire/hiring post, and investment posts are not allowed in #👷︱for-hire (is only stated for #💵︱hiring ) probably alot more but these js top of my head ones
- wtf, that's bullshit LOL 2. real, afaik there's no image requirement at all 3. 😭 wtfffff
I think number one is valid because if youve sold the asset before and someone then pays to make it exclusive its not ACTUALLY exclusive but the rest? 😭
its not valid unless it's been sold once before tbh, maybe just require to state if it's been sold before for those kinda stuffs
"not sold before, R$25,000 to make exclusive, R$15,000 to buy non-exclusively"
! TooLongDev UwU
yeah that would be good, but its not stated in the rules at all yet we moderate for it
