#How did you learn to script?

if you dont know coding atall you can start off from yt
i recommend hiatus's tutorial
from there you just challenge yourself and learn on the way
you dont need to know everything at the start, its not a speedrun
it depends on the channel
i learnt from yt
try out different channels and see what works best
I had experience with java and javascript before hand, but I will say that paying the 5 bucks for the scriptmate plugin was worth it
Learned most of lua in 2 hours using it
i messed around with free models and slowly learned by the power of boredom and way too much time
also im still super mid after like 7 years but oh well
at the start just this cool dude's tutorial for the basics!
then for courintines, CFrames, Gui, functions and other complicated stuff I learned from The DEVELOPER FORUM!
i learned from visual basic (old lenguage nott recommended :c) the basics and later C#, from then learning other lenguages was super simple, even now with the new ai chatbot's
what
there is no "legitimate plugin"
??
dude what are u on i learned lua on roblox through scriptmate and the videos
you cant just say i didnt
wtf is script mate
It’s like 5 bucks on studio and it helps u code
ive never heard of that
from the dev forum it just seems like paid scripting tutorials..
there are so many good free ones
It’s a set of videos with a paid script partner that live edits your code and gives you coding challenges
It was worth it for me
I won't expect much for 5 dollars
