That’s like saying scripting is only typing

with modelling you have like texture nodes, geometry nodes, simulation nodes, and a whole other bunch of shit for other software and stuff

modelling has more advanced only new skillsets, building only improves on beginner skillsets

Now what beginner skill sets are those

placing parts and adjusting that placement, of course when you get to like b2+ you have pbr materials and stuff, but for the most part building just expands on the main focus of part placing, lighting and texturing, whereas with modelling it has some entirely new skills that require advaced knowledge to do, alongside having many other software than blender that all also have their own unique features

Nobody said they’re the same and building has more than just making buildings and part placing like optimization, environmental design and terrain designing

but it mostly expands on the same thing, yes I did forget terrain in that but advanced building does not have the same complexity as it does with modelling

I feel you are making this out to be a bigger issue than it is, pissnames talking rarely prevents people from giving feedback

A lot of my builds barely get actual feedback in chat because they flood it there

And they don’t talk rarely in building chat, I see a lot of new people to the server talk in there

for what you are saying there should just be a builder only channel

the reason for pro scripting was jus tsue to the volume of messages, I think a pro channel is needed as in like for actuall pros,

maybe we just have different goals in mind

I think you’re denouncing the skill ceiling of building

And as you said, skill role only channels would be nice but it would also be nice to get feedback from people my skill level or above

I think if that were the goal having it locked to b2+ would be pointless, just make it anyone with a building, role, they may be worse than you but it would still significantly decrease the message volume
