im looking to learn that soon enough as well but like basically from what ive seen before is u need this program called blender right. u need this plugin in rblx studio which gives the "Bones" to the character when u load it in blender, so u export a character/rig to blender n u animate the character there
or u can use the basic animation editor built in by roblox to create animations but if u like ur animations more advanced like me, use blender
as for holding animations like for guitars n shit i dont have any experience in that
