btw i think another use for this spotlight is just finding good games to play. Roblox kinda suffers from too many corporate, cash grab games and so it's super difficult to find genuinely good games to play

I agree with your idea. I have an abondoned project called "RoInfo" which was basically a game review and search database for non cashgrab games

I will try to make a few cashgrabs in Roblox to fund my other hobbies, infact im soon releasing one. I have moved on to a proper project in Godot 4. 3-4 years before this, good games easily reached 10-20K CCU. Now they barely reach 1K and Roblox player count have like quadrupled. Roblox is good for us teen devs to make easy cash for our projects. It is no longer a good gaming platform.
Just wait until big and mobile game dev finds out about roblox

they already have lol, have you heard of gamefam? they're half the reason this website is going to trash. It's just all corporate games that are only made for profits, and are very obviously cash grabs
the issue isnt that, mobile games actually require proper devs, when the big studios discover roblox, they will be releasing a new game in 3 day intervals
Roblox games, despite the lack of ads, are insanely profitable
anyways do you think you can bring this idea up to the managers or mods or whoever handles this type of stuff?
I mean, let’s be honest. I can easily make some modular code. Some builder can easily make a lot of assets and then even a team of 3-5 can easily launch biweekly games

I’m planning on making some mildly advanced cash grab games. Stuff like a build system are easy to make and readd onto new games
Like 1 for a warehouse, 1 for office etc.
But first I will make a different cash grab game because I like the concept
There is 1 issue with that:
It doesnt work
Gen A is so braindead they only understand basic movement and pressing buttons.
The main source of income of any cashgrab is mobile games with mostly 5 to 13 year olds

i can try but the management has just stopped trying to gather community feedback
i am in the feedbacker group and now its just ghosted. if i cant hold some power as a feedbacker then i dont think you can force this stuff in managements face
