Imo you should scale down the vfx when the move isnt anything crazy dont get me wrong it looks good but just kind of overwhelming vfx for almost no action
A battlegrounds game could be a good example
Keep things simple so that when you have a "ultimate" it amazes people instead of them getting used to the crazy vfx on normal moves
