no
** You are now Level 11! **
you can't tamper with the mouse, but you can make a slider that follows the mouses horizontal position
@hollow ingot
im listening
🐿️
how would i make a slider tho, i aint THAT advanced with scripting
This is an altitude tracker, you can use the right half to be the slider and the dotted line we can say is the mouse
Make a radius box and if the mouse is in that box it follows the mouses horizontal position in that box
since the mouse isn't a vector3, it will have the same position as the box so you can set the horizontal position of the slider to the horizontal position of the mouse
(That red rocket will be the mouse tracker)
im gonna be honest but i do not understand any of what your telling me to do, i dont rlly script that much and rlly was just trying to edit a pre made script
i could show you the model of the turret i have inserted
I can't really help you if you don't understand how I'm explaining
i told you like twice im not that advanced with scripting i was just trying to find a way to make it move horizontally
yes and I explained
ok so you track the mouse horizontal position, then you use the horizontal position as the orientation(rotation) for the turret
is that better?
no 💀 i dont even know how to do that either
first you will need to raycast then insert a part where the mouse is, then use cframelookat for the turret make it look at the part
i mainly just model stuff i dont script rlly at all
i hardly even understand scripting since i never do it, its too complicated for me especially since i have a hard time understanding anything :P
ok
would sending you the whole thing with the turret script included help? youd have everything you would need
you should learn beginner stuff before tampering with advanced stuff
No, since you still wouldn't understand what im saying
I would be speaking Chinese to a russian
all im literally trying to do is find a way to make the thing move only horizantally but have no clue how to even do that which is why i asked here
forget about it ill find a different way
Yes, and doing that you need to be advanced
good luck
