first of all
it could take away from the value of the existing skill channels, as members may be more focused on accumulating vouches than on contributing to specific channels. This could lead to a decline in engagement and knowledge-sharing within the channels.
it could create an uneven playing field where members with more time or connections have an advantage in accumulating vouches and advancing in ranks. (humans have a good bias in their brain anyways)
It could lead to a "vouch for vouch" culture, where members trade vouches without actually contributing to the community. This could create a false sense of achievement of the ranking system.
It could create pressure for members to constantly seek vouches and advance in ranks, leading to burnout and a decline in engagement over time
