@rapid tinsel what are your thoughts on the matter
I may be wrong, but I always thought of it as a quality control
@primal moon same question. Are you afraid that people will be taken advantage of?
And some people don’t know how much their work is worth because they’ve never had robux before
So 500 is a good baseline
The only downside I could see with this is that if everyone is offering, like, 50 - 300 robux, someone who’s really good at what they do may feel pressure to lower their prices so they get chosen even if their quality of work is better
So then you believe that new devs could be taken advantage of because they don’t know the quality of their own work basically, yeah?
i have to be honest there is already a loophole with this thing where people just say 500+ and negotiable
then they just negotiate it downwards
We’ve warned for when people say 500 but can be lower. The exception is when they say 501 and negotiable because technically the could negotiate to 500
But it would be better if we could just have the accurate prices
talking about negotiable prices ( #💰︱selling-assets
Yeah that’s not allowed currently
:/
I think you should still be required to include a price in #💰︱selling-assets and #👷︱for-hire, I just think that it shouldn’t have a minimum amount
Then vote yes :)
since you changed the wording :)
i'd be for a channel for free hire people
like a separate channel for people to offer their services for free and/or under 500 robux?
ye
That sounds way worse
That sounds like it'd become chaotic like DevPro's Free/collab channel
the free for hire role seems hard to find tho
i do agree with that
they never talk in general
A lot of people with the role just chose every role tho tbh
not for fire + for hire moment

Leaking mod stuff!!!!!!!
That’s member information that anyone can see?
Anybody can see individual member’s roles
Mfw can’t detect irony
I don't agree with this
A reason the minimum price is set is to avoid flooding
There shouldn't be a minimum price in #💰︱selling-assets, but there should in #👷︱for-hire
Otherwise we have to deal with "make my whole game you get 100 Robux for it"
A lot more to moderate for the marketplace mods
This is a shit idea if the minimum were removed, it could flood the marketplace with low-value assets and services, potentially making it more difficult for high-quality offerings to stand out and reducing the overall perceived value of the marketplace
This
oh you said the same thing
i did not read sorry lol
well almost
Nobody is asking people to make their games for them in #👷︱for-hire…?
What are you talking about
Damn bruh I was thinking of #💵︱hiring ong
My point still stands though, example aside
It's to prevent flooding
Ill make a new suggestion just for #💰︱selling-assets
