I mean this because I spend 1 hour trying to add running animation, and the problem was that I did it with r16 and my characters are r15. Now I have the question, if I do the animation only with r15, will people who have r16 run out of animation?

No idea what R16 is but if you're importing an animation it has to be for that rig
If you want to use an R15 rig then you must make an R15 animation. If you want an R6 rig, you have to make an R6 animation for the rig.
