im not really an export either but i've had this bug a bunch of times where the origin point isn't centered on the model, most of the time it happened when exporting the 3D model from Blender the origin point wasn't on the geometry and for the whole rig moving around same thing happened to me and usually it was because i reversed the process the parent was the 3D model and the child was the rig
