Something like when you use IK it'll work as IK but when you switch it to FK, it'll not come to its rest position itll stay on the same location and rotation when you used the IK and then you'll animate it in FK then when you want to change it to IK it'll stay on the same position and location as it was in FK and not in the rest position

and add inersia

so things are a little more swingy when moving as an example after successfully aiming his punch with his other arm make it have some swing when he brings it back

but if thats not your style or preference just make it feel stronger by instead of swinging it all the way back keep it somewhat aiming in the same direction it came from when aiming and just let it have a little more motion when he rests it to signify the strength he is punching
