the lil "stop" in an m1 is for more impact, its not really a stop since you should see the path of your punch and slowly reduce the motion of it and make it wobble, your posing makes it look more like a grab, too long startup, and also add a bit more motion around not just rotation

literally most m1s are made for the soal purpose to be fast half the time its covered up by the transition between the next punch and thats what SBG and JJS did I just used inspo for what they did I was just making sure everything was fine before I went into the 2nd animation for the M2 and yall talking abt stopping it right after the punch ends
