yes to the first part, no to 'fixing the issue' - the only issue they have is they're not satisfied with their code so they make a new one trying to get better architecture, and they just can't do it so they repeatedly restart the project. the irony of the situation being the only way to build said better architecture is to push through the technical debt and make something of the m1. but they don't do it, they stop at target dummies.
