Bans for reaching the warning threshold have been reworked
This only concerns people who have been banned and unbanned for reaching the warn threshold.
In the past, the warning thresholds for a ban were multiples of 5. Now everything** above 5** counts as a ban. Appealed/removed warns will continue not to count toward the threshold.
This meant that after an unban of a ban for reaching the warn threshold, users practically had their warns reset, since the next ban was 5 warns away again. Now you will instead get banned instantly for the next warn with a harsher appeal requirement, unless you appeal some warns before that happens.
Users that currently exceed the threshold will NOT be banned unless they get warned before lowering their warnings under the threshold.
