Should I gear up Satele first or Stranger, I do not got HFM but have the normal maul and starkiller

Without the right maul it’s not the same swuad on offence or defense so I’d do Satele

also considering that satele beats stranger, and is pretty good against other squads she’s the better character to gear up

if you're in lower grand arena brackets then stranger will hold very well, even without hate fueled maul. i would personally gear him up first if you have starkiller ready to go with him and then loop back around to satele

Strangler is kind of lame without MHF.

Amazing with, but if you don’t have both (like me :p) Strangler by himself is just OK.
