#How to stop being a modaholic

I keep buying the mod store mods bc they have speed, only to be disappointed with 1 or even zero additional rolls. Because of this, I always have a credit bottleneck (especially fleet credits), which means I can’t do more “important” things like upgrade characters/ships or whatever.

I also have the bad habit of wasting mats on mods that have 3+ rolls of speed, even if they are otherwise horrible. Sometimes I might even rage and upgrade the mod all the way up to 6A, or spend 75+ attenuators on it, and I still don’t get any additional speed rolls. I also end up spending most of my crystals, episode currency, and mk3 guild tokens on mod mats, even when I “need” other “more important” stuff.

Finally, and perhaps worst of all: I am obsessed with mod scores and see them as a symbol of status. If you don’t have at least a 3.0, you don’t exist to me. I also don’t sleep at night if my mod score goes down by even 0.01, and I avoid all lsbs like the plague.

My guild has said that my mod-addicted lifestyle has affected my performance in all other parts of the game. How do I stop being such a modaholic???

I personally think mod scores are kind of stupid. I mean on its face, it’s an evaluation of your entire roster, 80% of which goes unused. How many teams do you realistically use? 40ish? Maybe? So I guess it’s cool your rose tico has +20 speeds on everything but in the end, does it do anything for you?

I’m also not really sure what the point of your post is. “Look at me I have sweet mods!!” If any of the above is actually true then yeah, you got a problem but it isnt mods. If you’re losing sleep over a video game on your phone then maybe you need to refocus your energy into something more productive. It’s a game and it should be fun.

If it’s all hyperbole and you enjoy the game by having the absolute highest mod score possible then good for you. Play the game the way you want to play it.

Stop buying mods in the mod score

Stop investing in (1) 3 speed mods

Stop rolling 75 recalibrations

Stop spending crystals on mod mats

#

You literally gave us the bad habits there

I’m betting my house I have more 25+ speed mods than you and I don’t do any of that account draining crap

Sorry was just making a (evidently very bad) joke. I didn’t mean to engage anyone giving genuine advice - I apologize for your time. Also I meant 3 speed rolls not 3 speed (I don’t even see where I wrote 3 speed?) mb about that.

“Joke” aside I actually have to stop buying the mod store mods though lol even though I’m not running out of credits any time soon.

I would legitimately be concerned if such players actually existed
