Ello, im looking for some recommended squads/characters in it. Im At gp 572 and unsure of where i should be going. Looking for a dark squad and a light one.

Geos are a really good starting dark side team, they are great in TW, GAC, and will get you padme. For a light side team I think I’d say either do Phoenix, which is good in all those game modes aswell, or work on getting Jedi revan and Jedi

Geos have the perk that if you’re committed to F2P they’ll also get you a spot in guilds doing DSGeo for Wat. If you don’t do it early you basically have to pay cash for him when you want JMK.

Nice early game ships too.

The standard choices, though, are Phoenix (Hera, Capt Rex, Chop, Kan, Sabine) and Troopers (Veers, Piett, Range, Dark, and Gideon). Zeb for Sabine and Stank for Gideon are common swaps for early game - easier to get but not as good.

Bounty Hunters under Bossk with his zeta lead are also a common early team, as is Palpatine with Vader and filler (Mara Jade, Thrawn, Shoretrooper, Sith Empire Trooper, B Shan Fallen, lots of options).

Light side has a lot less options.

Jedi such as Bastila, Jolee, Jedi Knight Anakin, Snips, General Kenobi, Grand Master Yoda are worth working on. Jedi Knight Revan (JKR) is the easiest tier 3 journey and basically just needs G12 Jolee and Bastila, maybe not even that, with the 7* on the five. Master Qui-Gon and Padawan Obi-Wan (“MQG and POW the poncho bros”) are another assault battle, one that is arguably better since it gives lots of cash.

With Phoenix, Troopers, and the bros you can cover five of the assault battles and those are a permanent income stream. JKR and Sith (Palps and Vader mostly) will do a 6th and 7th.

After that the usual advice is to go for Executor, which uses Piett and the Bounty Hunters.

Still a good early game squad to build. At 5.27m you’d skip DSGeo and go straight to RotE.

And absolutely build the troopers, and do not use an Iden lead, because Veers/Piett is how you do two CT1’s in AB’s with a bunch of G8’s.

(Iden is better in the short term pre-80 and she has a good ship, not a bad character to have but in no way a replacement for Veers.)

For what it’s worth, of course, pick some squads and stick to them. Having four fully functional squads by the time you hit 85 is a good goal. Phoenix first is a good pick - have to be able to clear all of Galactic War each day.

(And don’t forget to get DS ships to do the Executrix challenge for zeta mats… and don’t neglect mods. Two things early game players often miss.)

People in the bottom divisions most likely won’t have Traya, or Jawas the 2 easiest and most common counters to Geos. Also Mara jade doesnt get her Omni for her to be an easy counter to geos

Vader solo is the easiest counter for geos as well as one of the most common first characters to build in the game

And mara jade omi is tw as well as completely unnecessary for her and ep to duo them even in tw

They are like D tier in gac

I honestly don’t remember ever know about Vader soloing geos, so I’ll have to take your word on that, however I do know that geos are still a very obnoxious team to deal with

I mean I don’t see geos besides occasionally back wall in a TW which is maybe once every 6 months

I do still think geos are a better rush before executor and that, because 1 you don’t have to take them as far, and you get a good enough of a fleet to make you competitive early before you get exec

I personally think they are worth relicing, but then again I have almost everything at relics. They are really good with malev for fleets at an endgame level at the very least

Early relics are very expensive and each one matters and even if you take geos up to relic they still just lose to vader solo and the fleet will fall off very quickly since by the time you could even get malev people will have exec

agreed, I think GBA is worth the G13 anyways to make wat mission easier to get him into as good of a guild as fast as possible

Exec rush secures crystal income both short and long term cause executrix bounty hunters will be at least top 50 maybe better depending on how much his shard spends and executor will be rank 1

Yes, but it requires 2 relic 8s and a 7* razor crest which I feel is just too expensive for a first farm

Its the most suggested first major journey for a reason

You pick up stuff like ep on the way but its where all the early relics should go

Razor crest is hard to farm, plus the R8 bottleneck I think getting geos up and running gets him into a good guild, decent crystal income early, then into executor while getting Phoenix for a light side team

Full exec rush is very unlikely to fall behind when it comes to crystal income

Hounds tooth is the king of early fleet arena

Executrix geos isnt really great

I’d probably say set up a bunch of CT1 AB teams before fully committing to Exec.

-Phoenix can do two (Rebels and Phoenix/NS).
-Gen Beers can do two (Empire/Droid and Troopers/BH).
-Palp/Vader and filler can do Sith/FO.
Jedi one is harder but IIRC JKR, GMY, Jolee, Bastila, and GenKen can do it.
Poncho bros for DotF.

Inq/Tusk and PP can wait.

Challenge tier 1 of assault battles, they run about once a month and give pretty good rewards for the investment needed so getting up to ct1 for a bunch of them quickly is usually recommended, executor is one of the three “GL ships” which will guarantee you rank 1 fleet arena (400 crystals a day) and get alot done in gac

dotf is a newer assault battle thats more expensive to go for

Build pheonix for your first light side team and emperor palpatine + mara jade + darth vader + piett + 1 for early dark side
