Ignore me with my goofy title, I thought it just was funny cause while I had accepted the fishing quest with Mikan, but had not talked to her or started it yet. I had just went back to my farm and was planting some seeds and all the sudden Mikan just appeared like a lil jumpscare queen and just has been talking about fish (it's the quest's dialog from what I've seen other people say about what she says during it)

So yea. Just. Mikan. Out of no where. I also did not get to see the conversation you have with her, and while I'm just over here giggling I'm a lil bit bummed I didn't get to see that to know how the quest starts. I'll add a pre-Mikan pop up save as well as a just now post Mikan pop up if you guys want that for looksees if you want/need momentarily

yes precisely. In fact, I accepted the quest a few days ago when I was playing, haven't been on again until today. I worked on my town a little bit, went back to my farm, started planting some seeds I got, and then she just appeared as I was planting. Not until I started planting the seeds though

but yea, I did not talk to her at all and yet here she is lol

My fav is when mikan who is following you teleports forward for no reason and then another mikan teleports behind you in a jumpscare

there were two mikans in town when i had both fishing + story quest for her to follow, before i asked either to join me

@here okay, I just made another update 0.9.4_9351 that fixes the duplicated mikans (or any NPC that's joined to you) issue - I honestly wasn't able to reproduce the random Mikan join issue from your save file #3, I tried letting the day run out, dying, sleeping in bed, sleeping in box, saving/loading, etc and I just couldn't trigger it maruWhy

So basically what I've noticed the same between both of these instances, I had the other join quests in my journal already, and both Mikan and Bibbles joined me when I used the "E" key (computer, surface pro) to do something else entirely while on my farm, specifically near the actual farmland area/near my house (I have not moved it from the original spot as of yet)

I know this is likely not an issue you guys will be focusing on, its not a big deal rn anyway, but I wanted to keep documenting it for you guys

he just does not want to stay home lol (this is after I started up a save a day earlier for the other buggy reasons in the other thread I'm annoying yall with, he was not with me at all, and then he just joined me on his own when I went wood chopping in the plains again)
