I've had the hs80 RGB headset for 2 years now and the ear cuffs that came with the headset were starting to fall and so I ordered some new ones and now I can't get them to twist onto the headset.

Ah your model is slightly different than mine I got the lower end one
but well its the same thing and the cup you bought looks correct
make sure the padding doesn't cover the plastic pieces that need to twist in
and make sure there isn't something stuck in the holes it need to twist into

I looked at the little label on the back of the cuff. And I did have the left side. I think super glued because it was falling off and I didn't know that I could twist it off at the time

Like I feel like you have something from the old ones stuck on
cause you glued that part back right
before you had bought replacements
so maybe because that part is stuck its just pushing the new cup away enough the mechanism can't get into place
is it the same on both of them? have you tried the other side and see if you can install it there?
like try the right one instead of the left one or vice versa
use the correct cup of course

@pine coyote okay, some good news. The protective part that was left on the other ear cuffs was still attached to the headset so it turns out I just had to take them off and then I was able to attach the new earcups to my headset
