it annoys me that streaming services don't allow you to curate your own playlist, for example: the flash series, the green arrow series and the Supergirl series, they have their own moments on screen but then you have a "crossover" with the flash and green arrow where you have no idea what's happened to the green arrow so you have to go back and watch the green arrow to understand what is going on, these series are made to be watched like, "Flash S1:E1-4, then Green Arrow S1:E1-2, back to Flash S1:E5-7 then enters Supergirl S1:E4" this was an example, and then there are time where you have to watch completely different mini series where they all team up for something, after the fact going back to my original example!!! SMH MY HEAD

yeah I wish streaming services had a built in note or something to be like "hey, stop here, go watch this show"
Seriously for stuff like this they ought to have a playlist already built and ready to go! Shouldn't be on me to piece it all together.
that being said Disney+ does this for the whole MCU, all in chronological order

how do we feel about HBOs Harry Potter? imo feels like a attempt to remaster a master piece, i would like it if they made a film about another school of wizardry, or adapted on something from Hogwarts legacy the video game
Totally unnecessary, itβs just π€·ββοΈ π€·ββοΈ π€·ββοΈ
Same, I would not mind something else in the universe like you said, but then at the same time. The Fantastic Beasts movies happened, and were not great. π€·ββοΈ
but also on the other hand IIRC, HBO are going to stay more loyal to the HP books' lore, so instead of a 1:1 it will probably be like 1:1.75 to the already released HP movies which would be cool to see a more in depth character building.
ngl i liked The Fantastic Beasts movies, for the reason that it was somewhere in a different time period, seeing a lot more mythical beasts, how young Dumbledore handled things and his own personal issues.
Ohhh interesting. I guess that will be cool to see something more loyal to the lore, and hopefully with more runtime per book they can do some fun stuff too. I'll probably still watch and hope it's good, for the record. Just one of those, man there was probably a better use of time/money than remaking something universally loved π
And I enjoyed the first Fantastic Beasts! Second was more meh, and I don't think I saw the third.
Oh! I should've been chatting here instead of solely in #1451636247134208170 now I know.
A former coworker kept track of what movies he's seen and how many times. I joked that I couldn't be bothered to do that, yet it would certainly help when I recognize an actor or their voice and want to reference where I know them from - but that would make things too easy. π
i used to keep a running list of every movie i had ever seen, long before there were actual services built to do so. stopped it at some point but i know pretty much everything up until 2014 or so! π
Alright nerds, what movie should I watch tonight? (Netflix, Hulu, Paramount, Peacock, Disney+, or Apple TV)
Feeling comedy tonight
no prime?
we started watching The Ballad of Wallis Island and are enjoying it so far (always fun to watch in multiple sittings due to kiddo π )
otherwise have you seen the new The Naked Gun? or the originals for that matter
I always forget something lol, I have Prime as well
Iβll check it it out!
