So apparently the only difference between the A350-900 ULR and the regular A350-900 is literally class configuration and a software update with some minor physical differences (wingtips, landing gear and plumbing) that sounds absolutely crazy to me that the extra 25k liters of fuel were always available but software locked
And literally only Singapore is using them atm
A380 failed approach and back to 25k feet ???
Too much traffic?
I mean yeah but where else can an a380 land
Probably nowhere but that single airport
Ohhh you mean like going at the back of the line
Yeah
✈️ Plane spotting is our passion, and Only Planes is where it takes flight! Welcome! 🔴 LIVE from Brisbane International Airport (BNE/YBBN) with James & Matt...
Weird go around happened while i was watching this livestream
2 planes on the same path very close to eachother
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nmoDT4wrCc well apparently they had their redemption, they’re actually good now !
The last flight had a lot of room for improvement. But in the second flight back to Glasgow, Global Airlines really showed their potential! This was an impressive service!

Ok what’s FR24 people’s obsession with tracking ground carts
i still will never fly with them
lol
unlesx they offer a business seat at the cost of economy of a mainline carrier
they're still too young
probs diverted
Hmmmm that’s very weird
Yeah it was diverted to rio, weird there was only a cloudy weather and no wind…
Probably just went through heavy maintenance or something
Or a repair
Hamburg has an airbus plant/facility there so id guess it’d be something maintenance related
Yeah but it comes from the airport just under usually
Rahhhh my country
I think there’s an airshow going on in New York
2 planes in the left had a 20m altitude difference
Why is Toronto YYZ ?
Why not
There was a station in malton, ontario and its code was YZ. Which is where pearson is now
morse code railway stations
i guess the ICAO identifier also lined up with it which is kinda cool
one of the weirder ones for sure tho
Pretty broken Air nz 777 from BNE to Auckland. Puncture damage while pushing back, 7cm puncture below captains window. Flying back to Auckland with approval from Boeing but has to stay under 9000ft. Planned to be repaired at Auckland before flying to Singapore for scheduled maintenance
Oh wow that’s impressive, must be super noisy in the cabin
Yeah
mfw the max 8 squawk 7700
Interesting
Afriqiyah Airways A330-300 5A-ONQ from Beida to Jeddah on a Hajj flight, veers off the runway during turning for takeoff at Beida Al Abraq International Airport in Libya.
Dang
Why is Rotterdam airport being the most tracked so often ? This was top 1 when it was doing its approach, weather is fine
Probably some avgeek telling their followers to track their flight
@broken wind
7600 has radia issues
what do u think is the issue
Engine probably
no it looks like its going fine now
2k feet
theyre not losing altitude
Oh it’s approaching Birmingham airport I didn’t see that
LMAOOO
yeah
yeah its got the glideslopenow
going down to the rnway
probs medical emergency im thinking
@broken wind
Seems quite serious
5 ground vehicles
Guess we’ll get the news soon
Yeah
Maybe a fire ?
7 vehicles in total
https://vxtwitter.com/aviationbrk/status/1925899656401166382 this is a bit old but impressive
The pilot of a twin-engine Cessna made an emergency belly landing at Arlington Municipal Airport on Thursday.
With gears retracted, the pilot touched down on a foam-covered runway at about 12:42 p.m. and slid to a stop.
A few moments later, two people exited the aircraft with their luggage and walked away, uninjured.
DoorDash driver enroute to his destination accidentally drives onto the ramp area at Chicago O’Hare Airport.
Despite the strict rules at the Chicago airport pickup and drop-off areas, the delivery person entered the secured areas before a worker realized he wasn’t supposed to be there.
According to the outlet, a source noted that the driver drove miles along the interior and restricted roads at the airport and possibly even crossed runways — before someone in the air traffic control tower saw him.
The Chicago police confirmed that the accidental trespasser was a 36-year-old man working as a delivery driver, and after conducting a preliminary investigation, they believe the actions were simply a mistake.
No charges or citations were filed against the DoorDash driver.
This is hilarious
@broken wind dude look what I just found
Same reg same airport almost a year ago ???
https://youtube.com/watch?v=YPbOKxqvE7U 22min ago, same guy filmed the situation

wow, Qantas' first 767-300 is returning to Brisbane tonight
some Kenyan freighter company bought it in april and now its coming here
https://vxtwitter.com/aviationbrk/status/1926897765004517809 @ivory pendant from 2 days ago, you can clearly see the left engine barely turning
Blue Islands ATR 72-500 makes emergency landing in strong crosswinds following an engine failure shortly after takeoff from Birmingham Airport.
Video shows the aircraft veering down the runway as pilot controls the landing.
📹 @AirportAction https://t.co/38kmxdQu8z
yup
What the heck lol why are there 3 flights from Seville in Spain to a random polish city like 5 minutes apart
Ohhhh I think it’s related to football
That’s cool
Noice
Yeah that’s pretty cool
Cool. I know a company in the UK is trialing the use of Commercial UAVs instead of manned aircraft to do this.
I think the UAV was something fairly large, but about the size of a pickup truck in all.
China Southern Airlines flight CZ6850, an Airbus A320-251N, diverts to Hangzhou, China, after a fire developed in an overhead luggage compartment.
According to an airline statement, on May 31st, flight CZ6850 from Hangzhou to Shenzhen, a passenger's camera battery and power bank smoked, and the crew returned immediately. The flight landed safely 15 minutes after takeoff.
Due to the frequent incidents of power bank fires on passenger flights, airlines in many countries and regions have banned the use of power banks on aircraft.
Hell yeah special livery at local airport
football 🥀
Lol
yeah some airlines are banning it on overhead bins now
u have to literally carry them in front of you
or on you
All of them are UKAF
Incredible sight to see this mammoth thing up in the air
https://t.co/wSsRNsqImB
damn it's flying again
What is that
A plane
Is it real
Yes
Fr24 moment
Old thing
Yes it’s from the 1970s I wonder how it’s still profitable to fly it
I mean it being a freighter means it probably rakes in a shittone of profit per flight
Wait no it isnt that old
That specific A300B4 was delivered to JAL in sep 1994
That’s still pretty old lol
Which makes it 31 years old
I mean that it’s not very efficient compared to like an A330
A300 was in production for a long time so theres more to convert into freighters, a330 is still somewhat sought after by airlines which makes getting one hard i think
Also a300 was the first etops compliant aircraft
But saying that the a330 is starting to get more popular for freighter conversions as it gets older
thats a -600, no?
not B4
and tbf, a300's still have pretty good semi-glass cockpits
sure they're not as modern as a330's but they're pretty good birds to fly and really reliable
Ye
Single runway ops at brisbane again

It’s a helicopter model
Thats cool
HOLY SHIT @thin apex @broken wind air india 787-8 crash
1 min after takeoff 242 onboard
yk
i just
came in here to say the same thing
just saw...
first 787 hull loss 😭
i really wonder what happened... its tragic
someones already updated the wikipedia
I saw yeah
People are rapid quick for Wikipedia honestly
Holy shit, there was 1, ONE survivor
Some dude seemingly just walked away i think
ok it seems like the plane suffered a dual engine power loss
the sound in one of the videos sounds like the RAT was deployed
that plus the 40c or so weather with flaps up would mean a definite loss in lift
atc transmission quote: "mayday, no thrust, losing power"
looks like it
yea thats crazy
luckiest man alive
actually it seems like he jumped out of the plane
he was in seat 11a, next to emergency exit
dunno how he jumped out in time
crazy
its so sad tho, maybe birdstrike?
doubt it tbh
unless pilot error where they accidentally moved throttles to idle?
or cut the fuel supply
idk tbh, but the final report on this incident will be interesting to say the least
guess we'll just have to wait a bit longer to know
Shortly before the fatal crash of Air India flight AI171 in Ahmedabad, two British nationals waiting to board the plane were seen joking and smiling in what would become their final video.
In a story posted to their wellness page, Wellness Foundry, founders Jamie Ray Meek and Fiongal Greenlaw-Meek appeared in good spirits as they waited to board their flight.
Fiongal ended the clip saying, “Going back happly happily, happily calm,” in a tone that was upbeat and cheerful.
pretty heartbreaking videos but that's the reality of accidents, it's not just the passengers, all of them have families, thousands of people are affected
lol
Always take with a grain of salt but it seems to be a company issue, not a Boeing issue
Almost had me lol
Interesting
7600 is for lost communication, kinda annoying for a drone
Gonna take some time to fix it
If they can
Wonder whats going on here
Whoa
their 787's really on something huh
Interesting
No it’s not actively tracked
I’m telling y’all, it’s an air India maintenance problem, not a Boeing problem
Interesting…
What the hell
Same one or different?
Same, it landed in tampere
Former NATO radar site from the Cold War called Hofn AFS. It was used to intercept USSR planes. It was decommissioned in 1992 and replaced by an ARSR radar used for ATC
(It’s pretty damn massive considering the white garage door, probably 15m in diameter)
It used to be way bigger with 120 people living there
Whoa
I got 5G before even landing so I just tracked my own flight
It isn’t mandatory anymore to put your phone in airplane mode, I’m not breaking any rules doing this
Noice

woah, its starting revenue service already??
thats crazy, i cant wait to get onto one of them
sydney to mel is such a waste for the xlr though ngl
Near the end of the year it will. For now, just using this one for crew training and performance assessments
Itll do the syd, mel, bne for a while but i think itll do the trips to perth as well
And short haul international routes later on, maybe auckland, denpasar etc
oh, makes sense
Geez, lotta people tracking rn
its kinda a big change for aussie aviation
Mhm
The start of the long end of the 737ngs
Hold your horses lol. Theyre getting refurbed now
at least they have the neo's... quiueter, larger
yeah.. i know 😭
at least theyre getting a refurb
but like
i cant bleive qantas wants to extend the life of them further lol
Oh also qantas is taking the last of singapores 737ngs
Yeah lol
theyre NOT getting rid of them anytime soon
i think its the only last major carrier literally that i can think fo that arent moving to retire them
or i guess, replacing the 737s
and domestic 330s
yeah
and their 350s wont even be used on norml flights
its only project sunrise right
like bruh to asia the options are so bad on qf
compared to all asian carriers
like
The fact that QF15 from brisbane to lax is one of the longest a330-200 flights is concerning lol
i can fly a 350 to hkg via cathay, or 350/777 sin, 787 vn air etc...
qantas: hold my 330
or 380.. but 380's hella cramped lol
its not that comfortable
Qantas is so goddamn slow in the international market
yeah man
Well atleast jetstar exists
Virgin Australia really had to die on us
Oh also the delivery flight of the xlr which takes it to Bangkok first is the longest A321XLR flight in its history
11 or so hours
Apparently the ISR sensors are pointed at russian held Crimea
@thin apex
Interesting developments
Rip
Ouch
lol am tracking rn as well
gonna watch the sydsquad live
LMAO
the sky's already giving it a water salute
slight bounce as well on landing
yeah right hand side lifted off a bit
Ahh…. An overheight truck has struck an overhead ramp at Brisbane int
LMAOO
Melbourne
"oi mate, oh dear, a little whoopsie there"

@broken wind the old VH-OGA 767 been stuck in brisbane for weeks. Had an engine problem which was rectified but then somehow slipped off the jacks and a hole was made
wtf
maintenance really going slack these days bruh
Im not sure when its not worth it to repair a plane
But this is getting close to being made into aluminum cans
Us navy C130 and an An-124 at Townsville
Us nav would probably be there for training, antonov probs for freight?
Oh also a NATO A330MRTT delivering german army troops
What the
@ivory pendant
wilding winds in sydney today
winds 34kts gusting 45
bro holyyy
damn
were also getting some wind, starting to pick up
but sydney is wild lol
yall got terrible weather
Lots of military activity today. Probably related to talisman sabre
near townsville hahaha
Mhm
Amberly and Townsville
Cant film at Townsville actually
Lots of confidential stuff there
Oh actually there was an AN-124 there not long ago
@broken wind aw shit they moved the guy from brissie down to Sydney 💀
bro what the heck
how bad are these jetbridge operators getting💀
Must be contagious or something lol
surely they haven’t been at the pub for a few pints before coming to work righttt
Damn swissport
Ground crew must be a different breed
Usually youd get random drug and alcohol checks
Honestly dude i feel like this is just a swissport thing. They got a not so good rep
but istg does this happen in other swissport airports outside of aussie
Probably not lol
Im only getting articles about australia when I search up “jet bridge accidents”
HAHAH
feel bad for qantas
not even their fault
lol
not really “irl aviation” but any guesses to this airport @ivory pendant
andw gotta admit, damn, this looks realistic
last of the pics, but the texturing on the engine 😍
Not surprising tbh
doesnt surprise me tbh
its literally a miracle those things are still flying lol
hell nahhhh LMAOOOO
Yeah lol
@broken wind virgin australia plane damaged while being towed to the MAINTENANCE hanger lmao
Well atleast it was on its way
LMAOOO
well at least
it was headed to maintenance
Yeah lol
@broken wind @ivory pendant this is sum serious stuff https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/07/30/london-airspace-shuts-heathrow-gatwick-failure/
80 flights cancelled in about 1 hour
Why is there an aeroplane hanging inside this airport terminal?
I heard about that, about 12 cancellations at gatwick atm
Probably bumped up
But another incident in 2 years is crazy lol
Or worse- the amount of fuel it took to fly that
yeah lol
imagine being in like a 172 and just seeing a massive jet crusing at ur altitude
Lol
hahahaa
Diesel props are a thing so honestly i could see that working
Probably cheap AF to run
lol yeah
there is actually a cessna 182 jt-a
iirc, with a turbo diesel
proabbly pumping around ~200hp anyways
Small hp numbers in the aviation world haha

@broken wind hows the weather at Sydney lookin lmao
rain every day bro
so sad
You see the diversions from sydney this morning?
Fog
Qf12 was diverted to Brisbane
oh yeah LOL
i’m surprised sydney doesn’t have cat iii auto land
The cockpit: 🚨🚨TERRAIN TERRAIN🚨🚨 PULL UP PULL UP SINK RATE🚨🚨 BANK ANGLE PULL UP WOOP WOOP 🚨🚨
Lol
They went at 270 knots 😳😳
Aircraft was brand new too
It’s probably super maneuverable considering it’s completely empty and probably like 5t of fuel
Bruh ofc
(It’s max verstappen’s jet) https://www.kkinstagram.com/reel/DM7Oky5IwCq/?
damn
brand new a321n too
lol
Last flight for the Star Wars ANA 787
Birmingham is still closed btw
Theyre all getting rerouted to London or Manchester
No the airplane collision
Oh really
Oof
Oh they reopened like 6 min ago
Look at the vid
5 hours incident is rough
Ok that’s why
I guess it doesn’t happen often on airports with only 1 runway

Hello guys
Yoo
Damn
Based on the top-selling all new A350, the A350F brings latest-generation efficiency and choice to the large freighter market. With unbeatable efficiency in terms of fuel burn, CO₂ emissions* and economics, the A350F is the only freighter capable of meeting the latest ICAO requirements.
More info: https://aircraft.airbus.com/en/aircraft/freig...
noice
looks sick
i can’t imagine having a 350 freighter rn
but maybe in the future will be a common sight
Itll take me a few months to get used to seeing an a350 freighter
Would look so weird
They’re gonna cook Boeing
i belive in the 777x
hopefully it turns things around a bit
Yeah, in 10 years lmao
The 777x would probably be certified early next year
well its boeing after all lol
maybe a few more years delay haha
But the engineering to make it a freighter takes time
Lots of structural things in freighter planes
Holy grain but RAAF 737 Max 8 BBJ
Didn't know there was a max 8 bbj
@broken wind so jet bridges crashing into planes has become a competition now has it? 🤣
is that latam
but damn
is that in qld
Sydney
Dont think so, latam uses a dark blue
just happened today
ah i think thats xiamen
but wow
aussie gorund workers really trollin
fr lol
Lmao
"who can cause the most damage to an airline?"
i think its because of high staff turnover, people being rushed through training
high staff turnover probably being caused by low pay
Wait what
The PLANE crashed into the jet bridge
imagine just being on your ryanair flight and seeing a eurofighter out the window
@broken wind Taipei had like 30kt of almost crosswind that day https://simpleflying.com/ups-boeing-747-engine-pod-strike-taipei/

woahh
yeah its typhoon season around that area
HAHA
how does one do that????
surely they were following the line tho...
Im amazed how the shear pins didnt break on the engine mount lol
Then again the engine only shears off at a certain force that could damage the fuel tanks
bro i feel bad for that pilot
probs wondering what the heck happened to his plane 😭
putin in to alaska
He gon be doing paperwork all day lol
no actually only 16
Noice
they also have a bombardier, interesting...
eh, is it big enought ?

Ah I see
Oof air canada on strike
yeah my father's stuck in canada rn
the one time he goes on a worktrip to canada and stuck there waiting for a connection... lol
yeah, he rebooked on porter. somehow they lost his ticket though.
great welcome to canada
Did you guys see the Putin tracking almost broke the record of most tracked ?
470k I think
If this was a movie, you’d think the writers had gone too far. Pilots of a departing GOL 737 MAX were able to swerve at the last minute and drive over a truck parked on the runway in Rio de Janeiro. We discuss the accident report on this week’s AvTalk: https://www.flightradar24.com/blog/avtalk-podcast/avtalk-332/
Oof lol
AC strike
Damn
pretty funny seeing them just parked on the runway
Wonder how much theyre losing daily parked up like that
probably 50 million until the strike ends
Anyone here know any good alternatives to Civil Air Patrol National Flight Academy? I am a highschool graduate but can't afford an entire flight school, but I also don't think I'll have a Class III Medical Certificate in time to do flight academy
talking about the cockpit, one of my classmates asked "why is a cockpit called a cockpit" and it was the most awkward conversation ever lol
@ivory pendant look where i am haha
Where
Thats syd right?
yep
Sheps mound?
mhm
there’s not that many good spots to planespot around sydney anyways lol
sheps is probs the most well known one amongst planespotters
I think everyone in this chat just likes aviation and we don’t really seek to attend flight school lol
Maybe you can ask in the flight radar discord server ?
ok
I saw that lol
Im pretty sure the person running has more injuries than the passengers lmao
Yeah lmao
Air canada strike has gotten even worse
The government ordered the FAs to go back to work
And the president of the union ripped the letter of the order
Oh no
Baby !!
I just heard that twice with two Baltic A220, super weird to hear in reality https://youtube.com/shorts/P9CAF78kajA?
I thought it was the flap setting or air brakes but no it’s this https://www.rxddit.com/r/AviationElevated/s/RIeOQKzcpW
We call the A220 “wookie”
Cuz of the sound it makes
More like a whale though
Yeah
My question is how did they not see that in r&d and why didn’t they solve it, it seems like an obvious issue, it’s loud af
Its only a low power thing so maybe they werent testing that
And why did it only ever happen on that p&w model and not other engines in history
Nahhh engine testing is so thorough there is no way they didn’t hear it
Also other engines do have this, just not as loud. The geared turbofan that the PW1000G uses just makes it louder for some reason
Basically p&w knew about it but didnt expect it to be so loud due to the quieter fan compared to other engines. Guess they just said “oh whatever” lmao
Then im guessing they started to get complaints from airlines
It probably stays under international law noise levels
757 mentionned rahhh
Noice
5th whale noise today
You can hear them at home?
They pass over Brussels yeah
2 more times now
Noice
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/txMSyuQuFa8 ouch this is really bad
He’s lucky he didn’t get his license removed by air authorities
Smh
Qantas yam dreaming is flying to my airport today
Oh cool
It was at my airport not long ago
The qf 787’s are starting to replace the a330’s for certain routes
AC strike continues
they're resurfacing the runway at my local airport
absolutely huge works, look how many machines are in the background, 1000 people are working there at the same time
My airport has also had one runway repaved
And actually this is the reason why I hear planes more than usual
They closed 25L and they use 25R and 01
Interesting
oh it’s a fucking corporate jet
It doesn’t have any registration or anything
It comes from SYR
adsbexchange will have the reg and owner
oh yeah they do actually, pretty fancy

lmao why is a a350 on a 1hour flight
capacity
King and Queen of Thailand taking off from Bhutan themselves piloting the Boeing 737 as pilot and co pilot
i think its a repositioning flight
No its scheduled
Repo flights arent scheduled
So thats definitely a real a350 flight anyone can take
And alot of airlines in the world do thos
This
Pretty big flex for Thailand imo
yeah
average japanese domestic flight lol
777 for 1hr 15 min
787/a350 for 1hr 40 min
Damn
dont forget qantas uses the a330 for domestic as well
ifl a330s for short haul are quite common
well not ‘common’ but not atypical
777s for short haul though is quite the interesting usage
though during taylor swift concert iirc qantas used a 380 between sydney and melbourne LOLL
good ol Yam dreaming livery

saw that
2025 has been a crazy year for aviation if you think about it
787 air india was insane tho
it's crazy we still don't have a definitive cause yet
Suicide is what id say it was tbh
couldve
the switches are battery operated, even if all electricals failed it would've worked
Yup
Cant be accidental because you have to pull them up since they’re sitting in a notch
yes, spring loaded
The switches were probably pulled just before VR which caused the rat to be deployed

The forward pressure bulkhead is damaged and requires replacement, and the engine must undergo a complete overhaul or be replaced, according to an Iberia mechanic.
Vía @aircraftmaintenancengineer 📹
Did they hit a fucking flying brick ???
Plus it’s on a brand new A321XLR, airline must be pissed
What kind of bird BENDS TITANIUM
Geezus
This would be a write off if it was an older plane
Bird hits nose cone /radar > damages fwd pressure bulkhead> gets into engine
Half the engine needs to be replaced, I reckon just the front fan is about 1M AT LEAST
If they replace the whole engine itll be about 15m
prac day today on the MD82, removal of nose landing lights, removal of main batteries in EE bay, removal of oven and coffee machine. Pulling relevant CB and tagging.

Ryanair my beloved
I has a MAX-8 on the first flight , glad I made it
Ryanair’s efficiency is unmatched tbh, the minute it parked to the gate everything started moving for it
Well i mean time is money
The max 8 is pretty good tbh, id trust it more than the ngs as they’re starting to age
Also sounds great on startup
It’s weird, first one had the CF-Titanium blades which is the LEAP-1B but not this MAX-8
And if you’re wondering, yes the landings are as hard as people say,
People also say they do that because it’s faster and time is money
Fair enough lol. Just keep that safety record up.
Wdym?
The blades on my return flight appear to be titanium and not the black and gray cf-titanium
Google lmao
Apparently early LEAP-1Bs had all titanium blades according to Mr GPT
We had a turnaround of 40 minutes from the time it arrived to the gate to push off
Wait so the whole blade was titanium?
Cuz all leap 1b’s have a fully titanium leading edge but the body of the fan blade is CFC
Zero titanium content in the body
I mean doesnt ryanair have strict luggage policies and an all 737 fleet. Makes things pretty standardized for the crew
Yeah like it doesn’t even have the tips at the end of the engine, could it just be the old engine type ?
This is how it’s supposed to look like yk
It says 737-8AS on FR24
Oh well that explains it
A video is circulating on social media showing the pilots of an American Airlines Airbus A319 appearing to forget to lower the landing gear as the plane was on final approach to Phoenix Sky Harbor on 6 September.
︀︀
︀︀This is hard to believe considering the gear warning that would have alerted the pilots of this, particularly so close to the ground.
︀︀
︀︀We have reached out to American Airlines for comment and hope to update you guys soon.

A major investigation has been launched after a Ryanair flight landed below minimum fuel with just 220kg left in its tanks - sufficient for around five or six minutes of flying time.
The incident occurred on October 3, when Storm Amy was battering large parts of Britain with winds of up to 100mph, sparking transport chaos across the country.
The flight aborted landing approaches on three separate times, before finally landing in Manchester.
A Ryanair spokesman said: “Ryanair reported this to the relevant authorities on Friday (October 3).
"As this is now subject of an ongoing investigation, which we are cooperating fully with, we are unable to comment.”
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) is now reviewing the incident.
How often do see A380 landing without clearance from ATC.
📹: Metal Birds Aviation(Youtube) https://t.co/Ucc7tYsipA
220 kg?
Yeah?
Diverted 2 times, did 3 go-arounds
Now THIS is a long diversion. Since the 737’s cant dump fuel they have to burn it to get within the MLW, quite the inconvenience when you’re fueled up for a 5-6hour flight
Apparently an issue with the flaps. Might be stuck in a downwards position
Not my video. Found on Dallas subreddit. Recorded at DFW airport on October 11th, 2025
Holy crap
A JetBlue passenger attempts to open an emergency exit after mistaking the A320's “barking dog” noise for a mechanical failure.
The woman, who claimed her boyfriend was a pilot, panicked after hearing the Airbus A320’s distinctive “barking dog” noise, a normal sound produced by the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) to balance pressure between hydraulic systems.

At Toronto Airport, a Boeing was unsuccessfully squeezed between two other airliners 😬 — all three aircraft were damaged
✈️According to the Daily Mail, ground staff likely mistook the space between the planes for a parking spot.
Brisbane mentioned rahhh
Fire breaks out in the overhead luggage bin on board Air China flight CA139 while flying between Hangzhou and Seoul.
It is understood that the cause of the fire was a lithium battery in a passenger's luggage spontaneously combusting.
The cabin crew contained the fire and the flight safely diverted to Shanghai-Pudong Airport.
Pretty accurate lmao
Bruh not again
People gotta stop putting liion batteries in the overhead lockers
Put em in your seatback pocket or somewhere easily accessible
United Airlines 737 MAX pilot injured after the windshield cracked at 36,000 while flying from Denver to Los Angeles on Thursday.
Reports have suggested the possibility of the aircraft being hit by falling space debris or a small meteorite, though this remains unconfirmed.
Passengers were later rebooked on a replacement Boeing 737 MAX 9 to complete their journey to Los Angeles with a six-hour delay.
holy shit
or buy better designed stuff
Even the best liion batteries have a risk of fire, its just how liion is made
eh some are better electronically designed than others
Also a bit of a user responsibility as well
WAIT NEO STANDS FOR NEW ENGINE OPTION ???
what
oh fuck I didn't even see it was IN THE SEA ??
Dang
Unfortunately one of the crew in the ground service vehicle died
Other person was taken to the hospital

A U.S. judge has approved a request by the Justice Department to dismiss a criminal case against Boeing in a deal that allowed the manufacturer to avoid prosecution on a charge stemming from two fatal 737 MAX plane crashes that killed 346 people but harshly criticized the decision.
Judge Reed O’Connor, of the U.S. District Court in Fort Worth, Texas, said he disagreed with the Justice Department that dismissing the case is in the public interest but said he did not have authority to reject the decision. He added the government’s deal with Boeing “fails to secure the necessary accountability to ensure the safety of the flying public.”
Boeing on Wednesday reached settlements in three lawsuits filed by families of victims of the second crash, after a jury had been selected for the trial of one of those cases in Chicago federal court.
The two passenger jets were five seconds away from a midair collision. Laurie Perez reports.

Per the IPA Executive Board, as of 03:05 UTC all UPS MD-11’s are grounded.
Edit - FedEx has also grounded their MD-11 Fleet
Oh shit
This is so cool, hard to tell but those are all engine hoist on the side of the building
Safran does a bunchhh of things, most famously they co designed the CFM56 (a320,737,a340,… 32k built) CF6-80 GE90 and the frigging GP7000 (which powers the a380)
As well as assembling half the annual volume of CFM LEAP engines
They also do a ton of defense stuff, pretty much all the engines for the Dassault Mirage, Rafale, Alpha are made by them and they co-designed the Airbus A400M
And they make the frigging space engines for the French Arian program for the ESA
Coool
Safran also does cabin interiors as well
🤯 Dozens of planes queued on the tarmac at Newark Liberty International Airport amid hours-long delays earlier today.
Forgot to say that is at Brussels airport, I went besides it, there is also the military part of the airport which is FRIGGING HUGE it’s 1.5km of straight huge hangars
I always went in a tunnel under the runway it’s so cool
Pretty cool that they thought about planespotters
Incredible video of a Boeing 747 at 35,000ft overtaking a Boeing 737 at 37,000ft captured from a B777 pilot at 33,000ft.
🚨 DELTA PILOT GRABS THE INTERCOM - AND SILENCES THE ENTIRE PLANE
“I know we probably have quite a few nervous flyers today…perfectly understandable. This aircraft doesn’t move an inch unless my co-captain Michael and I are absolutely certain it’s safe.”
Then he says the line that melts the cabin:
“Before I left the house, my little one just learned the word ice cream. She made me promise to get her some when I get home. Nothing, and I mean nothing unsafe comes between me, that little girl, and her ice cream.”
He tells everyone to text their families, pick their own ice cream spots, and relax.
Fear gone. Cabin silent.
Would you trust any pilot more than that?
Damn yall got multiple planespotting platforms. Pretty lucky
Well designed ones as well.
The planespotting platform at my local airport is all fenced off because someone had to ruin it for everyone
Wow that’s so cool are they your pics ??
and it's always a fucking cessna 172 https://www.kkinstagram.com/reels/DQ-sHaridMi/
Yup. The training facility that i go to has a few hangers. Couple things they have is a JT8D, JT9D, 2 RB211 engines
Beech king air
Piper navajo
2 MD82’s, 717, cessna citation
All for the people who do aircraft maintenance courses to work on, apart from the 717 which is reserved for the Qantas engineering academy
Interesting movements with the storm today
visual assesment of the runway ?
Could be yeah
At that point in time the runway ops were constantly being switched around as well. So mightve been waiting on confirmation from atc
Emirates is to deploy Starlink Wi-Fi across its entire in-service fleet, beginning with Boeing 777 aircraft in November 2025 and completing the rollout by mid-2027.
︀︀
︀︀Starlink connectivity will enable Emirates customers to stream content, game, make calls, work, and browse social media throughout their journey on both seatback screens and personal devices simultaneously. This seamless integration delivers connected experiences at scale across all cabin classes.
︀︀
︀︀Emirates plans to install Starlink on all its in-service fleet – comprising 232 aircraft in the next two years. hopefully i get some pics of it
Wow, belly landing POV https://www.rxddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/s/eWi0aLzhf1
I mean it’s a common sight here lol
Yeah thatd be common traffic for you lol
How people describe ryan air landings:
Yesterday I went to the planespotter place, seeing the headlights on the clouds is so cool
If you can go there on a day with scattered low level clouds you might see some vortices when the planes punch through the clouds.
So fast and so slow, even at 24k ft
Man pre-jet era must’ve been so loud all the time near big airports like Heathrow
Yeah that could be really cool, I have a 300mm lens too
And low bypass turbofan era
Wonder what cased this. Only reason itd be crusing at fl100 is because theres a hole somewhere on the aircraft
Now getting repod back for mx
A long, slow, expensive flight
interesting yeah
