Hey all I’m changing the DRAM kit in my computer and I’m trying to decide between 7000MT/s cl40, 6600MT/s cl32, or 6000MT/s cl30. I know that the lower the latency the better usually but would the increase in memory speed help mitigate that or would they all kind of equal out? It’s going to be paired with an I9-13900K which I know is not as sensitive to memory latency as Ryzen or some other chips are. It is mostly going to be used for gaming but I also do some editing and rendering very sporadically. Thank!

Ok so I should get 7000MT/s at 40cl then?
Hell no. Latency is king. Especially when it comes to gaming. If you're running intel 13th gen you should be at 7200 cl 34
Don't bother with anything that is above 10ns real world latency.
Ok that's what I got from reading but I don't know a whole lot about DRAM specifically so I figured id ask.
