wired mode isn't working correctly with discord and instead of output going to my headset it goes to my speakers at half volume, and wireless mode cuts out randomly

Have you tried to re-pair them to the Slipstream dongle?

For Discord, make sure the output is set to your HS80 Wireless in Discord's settings
