What h100i do you have?
It's the RGB Elite
CORSAIR RGB ELITE Series liquid CPU coolers combine brilliant cooling and refined aesthetics with SP120 RGB ELITE Series PWM fans and stunning RGB lighting powered by your motherboard lighting controls or an optional CORSAIR iCUE-compatible fan and lighting controller. These installation instructions apply to both the H60x and H100x RGB ELITE co...
Thsnk you, as for AMD5 boards, should I sit the small mounting brackets first on the CPU before mounting the cooler?
So I installed these
And these should be installed first on the cpu right?
Those go onto the pump head. You remove the pre-installed Intel ones and replace them with the AM4/AM5 brackets
Ah they pull out my bad
Ok so for the cable, there's the main cpu fan header, but there's also a sata cable and another that says usb only on it
What do they do?
The video is so extremely rushed I didn't understand a thing lol
Did your cooler come with the c harness that looks like this?
If so. The usb c end plugs into the pump head, your fans plug into 2 PWM headers they usually are numbered. Sata gets connected to sata power from your PSU, the USB, goes into the USB 2.0 header in your motherboard, and the 3 pin tact cable goes into your CPU fan header.
Ok building now as we speak thank you so much, will show end results
Just push the board over a little. And start screwing the board in. It doesn't have to be perfect.
Ok will try that now
Ok so this screw that's sticking up also somewhat aligns with the middle motherboard screen, is it ment to go through or just rest about it?
This is what it looks like with the mobo above
It's weird that that they made that mounting point a peg vs a standoff for a screw but it's fine. No harm.
It's the FRACTAL DESIGN Pop Mini Air ATX Mini Tower PC Case
I've managed to get 2 screws on so far and even with a nudge it's still pretty unaligned
That's not what I would call unaligned. Sometimes the I/O plate, especially if it's pre-installed will cause the board to be slightly off. This isn't a big deal. Just nudge it into place and screw it down. Make sure the IO plate is fully situated in the back of the case.
If you worry about every little minor detail you'll never get done. Have some confidence.
I got the message, not a big deal if I miss out a few mobo screws right?
I'd screw them all in. What is physicallying keeping you from scewing em in?
