You can can attach them directly to another LINK device, so you don't have to attach a strip to another strip. You can place them anywhere in your PC whereas it would be way harder with LS100s

i'll have to check that out. Makes sense for them to do a vertical mount version as he mentions that the 3 melting issues they have had reported were all watercooled cards. More likely for watercooled cards to be vertical mounted

A large removable hard drive cage in the bottom center holds up to five hard drives, while the double doors that hide all the cabling in the back also hold up to six SSDs. Not even counting the M.2 slots on the motherboard, this is already enough to potentially hold several hundreds of terabytes of data, perfect for any data hungry AI development task or super speedy and reliable RAID array.
