I picked up another RMx 650w (the on on the left) no cables and it looks different from the right one, does anyone know why the cable pinouts changed? Which one is newer? Right one is 9020091, left one is 902078.

Looks like CP-9020178 is the newer one.

Model 9020191 has one additional EPS connector compared to the 9020178.
The 9020191 is also newer, released approximately three years later.

The 650W RMx has had three different SKUs so far.
OG 650x CP-9020091
2018 650x CP-9020178
2021 650x CP-9020198
So @narrow jewel is correct the one on the left is the newer of the two. All cabling for all the models are still the same tho.
