Does the led turn off and the fan turn off and also does the pump actually switch off
Basically
Does the RGB switch off (if you have RGB)
Do the fans switch off
Does the pump actually switch off
Their issue was being caused by ASUS AI Suite. The motherboard is an ASUS MAXIMUS VII GENE. ASUS AI Suite is used for monitoring your system and overclocking from within Windows. It also has some fan control options, which they think was causing the problem. But in that case the fans would switch off and the RGB.
Nevermind mind it does my four brain cells anyways yeah that's what I would say the problem is so hoped it helped. 🙂
pump seems to be failing/reconnecting.
i'd try to force update its firmware / check all connections (obviously power off pc first) / repair-reinstall-uninstall-reinstall icue.. otherwise might be possible its a hardware problem.
should after checking these the problem persists, you can open a ticket with official support at corsair. they should know what to do
Yeah possible pump issue hence the red flashing which is there to alert you theres a problem
i have i’ve been playing on my pc for a while now ever since i uninstalled and reinstalled icue and i haven’t had this issue again so i dont think it was hardware
if the temps / rpm has normal function then great! but if it still stops/starts ubnormally then you'd need to be very careful and not ignore it...
it’s still doing the thing where on icue it says it drops to 0rpm and the red lights are flashing but it shows the temps are really low the temps aren’t going high
mc pc went fine for days not doing this and now all of a sudden it’s happening again
so it is hardware fail..
either that or some software is interfering bc i have Gigabytes control center and i have MSI afterburner
Both the GIgabyte and MSI apps with cause conflicts try disabling or removing them and just run iCUE
@lusty mango it's been a week with your PC being weird and I suppose you haven't fixed how you holding up (lol)
Please don't be rude to other community members. This isn't helpful or kind.
i’m just sad that this is the fourth replacement with the same cooler
Have you considered changing coolers because that is a common problem with that cooler
i mentioned that to someone they told me it wasn’t the cooler that was the problem i was just getting unlucky
i suggest you test what we mentioned above before resulting to more drastic measures such as replacing coolers or in buying something else.
Once again, the best course of action is to test without afterburner and Gigabyte control center, monitor the temps from icue and check if everything runs fine by only running icue.
