Hey!

I recently bought a Virtuoso Corsair RGB Wireless. Lately, the mic of the headset decided not pick up my voice wired or wireless. Apps on my Dell Laptop cannot detect the voice even though Windows 11 can detect the speaker and mic. My microphone settings are on as well.

I installed iCUE, forced updated the headset firmware, troubleshooted many times, soft reset the headset, and resetted my laptop. I did grab Microsoft support, and their conclusion was the Sound Card may be corrupt or damaged. Though my friend last night thinks it may be something else since Windows 11 still detects the headset.

Laptop Model is a Dell G15 5521 Special Gaming.

A thing I am confused about when connected wireless is that my headset charging LED blinks green. It is not being charged while wireless, so I do not know what this means. May someone help me clarify this?

Hi! I'm so sorry to read that your voice isn't being detected. Just to completely rule out the issue - have you tried connecting your headset to a different device if possible? This will help narrow down the issue to the headset or not.

Yes I did. My macbook detects the headset and mic fine. My Windows Laptop had an issue with no audio at all before back in June, but it was fixed with a full reset. I did the same method, but it did not work for the mic. The speakers are completely fine though. It’s really weird.

this case can be closed. i talked with my family to get input and after another reset, the audio is fixed. i did uninstall the drivers before that. so i think it reinstalled them when i plugged the slipless stream back in.

Oh! So weird but glad it ended up being a relatively simple fix. Thank you for letting me know 🙂
