Hey, so I have a corsair 5000x pc, and im thinking of installing 3 fans facing the right door, but I currently have 7 fans (ones part of the elite cappelix cooler I have, 3 are in front, and one is at the back (they are all sp120 fans). I currently have the lighting core/node pro (whatever it’s called) thats pre-installed with the 5000x, and I have one commander core. Will I need to buy a commander core xt to make these fans work? (the three fans currently unused are three sp120s). also, are there any good guides on how to do this with an already built pc?

As long as you have three available motherboard fan headers you can run the fans that way and control the RGB from the Corsair hubs.

Ok

Are there any good tutorials on how to mount three fans into that side though?

#

would you recommend I mount the fans covered by the "vent" facing outside my case or inside

#

as of now, my gpu is my "neutral zone" for air in a sense, and it's not getting much cooling from air

#

I need some fans to such some heat from it and disperse it outside the case
