Like others have said let it shake out but most of us that have been playing Deity see the writing on the wall haha
It just reflects the state of attack based builds. It makes perfect sense that you'd use Dara which has BL2 rather than Dursa, when even with a full bof build you're not nearing bl2s damage
Pretty much what I was saying. BL2 is insanely OP
If RS could use it then we would be too :x
From an outside perspective, it's cool that you have a class that can go either magic or attack, but atm magic is just busted
new idea lets nerf magic based skill to the ground completely gutting any use for the main options used for raiding and make only dts viable for horde content
Well, since Dara is magic based and is still doing ok I’m sure it will get nerfed shortly. That way Dara and Dursa can be equally unhappy
We're seeing all classes improving with every event. Maybe not all classes are served on every event, but there is new gear every other event.
Deity is said to be "jack of all trades" and this used to be true. But all classes now have an "identity" and all those traits are beyond us.
If every class traits and mechanics were trades, Deity is not the "jack of all trades," but the "jack of no trades."
There is nothing Deity can do that no other class can't do, often better due to supporting mechanics, besides Apex.
Where we win is in sheer stats. High base stats, plus lines, plus a ton of buffs we get out of nowhere let us outscale everything.
You can't even say "Deity trait is that we can use all gear," because Beo can use all gear, too, and they can do it better with hybrid monster.
People have to acknowledge that the other classes have evolved. I'm happy for them, the more people enjoying the game the more it will be developed.
If Deity mechanics is Apex, then we need supporting gear for it. If the mechanics is random buffs, then we need gear for it.
If Odie says the mechanic is that we get to make builds that nobody else can because we aren't tied down to specific mechanics, then we need gear with mechanics that are viable. Interesting mechanics don't mean anything if raids are immune, they take too long to trigger in PvP, or cannot be effectively used in dungeons and towers.

also deity doesn't have the best stats beoh clears att and mag (the 2 that matter)
okay so rs evolution was multiple turns ina row and beoh might have att and mag post hybrid but it doesnt without calculating hybrid and beoh doesnt have dex or def res stats deity has it all
avidity is nowhere as strong as flask and frenzy/ Collateral, also you're overvaluing def,res and dex everything is just ward

I'm not gonna lie, the idea that "all the other classes" have surpassed deity in some way is wildly out of touch IMO. Deity has gotten a relatively small nerf and is still extremely powerful across all pieces of content, and some classes barely scratch that type of power
I never said this? I was quite clear that we outscale everything. It's about the other classes getting new mechanics and gear that either changes or support their meta, while we are still doing essentially the same thing we did years ago.
Are you really gonna sacrifice TMM+Aaru Robe for 7% chance of mana overspend?

"There is nothing Deity can do that no other class can't do, often better" seems to imply that Deity is somehow underperforming across the board. Otherwise, what is the complaint here - that other classes are competent at a variety of content?
No, but we are only outperforming them due to sheer stats.
If that were true, it's bad because?... your unique powerful ability is passé?
And, as I said, if Deity mechanics is outperform everything with sheer stats, then gear that help us with that would be welcome.
As I mentioned previously, buff duration and buff trigger gear would be welcome.

Especially one that came with +5% "The Deity" trigger chance.
Or a generic buff, it would go well with gear like Imagination.
I mean equipping a Lugus gauntlet kind of does that already
It sure does help when you finally trigger that T.Atk+++... with DAra. And then it vanishes on the next turn.
It might happen eventually, but I'd guess a buff to hippo eyes is more likely

I mean it could happen, but Apex power is an m1 multiplier so it's pretty strong
So make it increase the apex gain per turn limit, although that would also have to be pretty carefully balanced

Ideally it’ll raise the apex gain per turn cap. Also let’s not add the buff trigger chance, I’m hoping it’s an armor adorn 😅
Apex Rate is kind of doing nothing because we don't really need any of it to reach Apex gain cap.

Sure, but then you have to pick between it, and ashen pinion, JoC or Lyncus.
Look man the buff triggers gonna have to be probably lower than half a percent to not instantly be busted af, I wish we could get it, but I don’t see it realistically happening right after we got a nerfed by reducing buff chance
0.5% is fine.
Alright so Deity is at what, 2% for +++? So six adorns at 0.5 each would get you up to 5%, which is a 25% chance per 5-enemy floor. Bump it up to 16 adorns across a couple pieces, and you're at 50% chance per 5 enemy floor...
And that's for 1 temp buff with a base proc of 2%. Every temp buff across your whole loadout would be affected similarly

A theoretical +buff chance proc adornment (to stack with the autobuffs from Deity in this context)

Still, some people have already stated that the whole "per enemy" is broken. It gives us an unfair advantage in horde content, but on the other hand, not everything is horde content.
If you balance everything considering you will have 5 enemies on screen all the time, you undertune the content with single enemies.
But only Ursa lists on kill as trigger.
Everything is on hit but the extra chance of ursa is on murder, ara extra chance is on apex Skill cast.
So, 2% chance on hit? Because I seem to recall it just randomly appearing on the turn start.
Every hit gives you a roll for the temp buffs. Dursa gets a chance on kills which idk where that is calculated
I see, but the point stands. You can't balance stuff considering only a portion of the content where 5 enemies will be on screen at once.
A simple solution would be to make it apply only once when multiple enemies are hit.
Or split the bonus across all targets, like we do for AoE damage.
Yeah but now that just basically nerfs deity again so it’s probably better to just not open the can of worms for an adornment
