#Raid Rewards and Raid Reward Boosters

What are your thoughts about rewards from raids; kingdom raids and world raids. Additionally, what do you think about Crest of the Felling and The Great Felling event, which increase the % of rewards from raids for a limited time?

Are raid rewards/boosters in a good place already?
Should players be able to get more crests?
Should there be other ways to enhance raid rewards?
Are there any concerns about the impact of boosters on how we interact with raids?

Personally, since getting a few crests from free archpaths, I feel like I'm wasting my world raids if I defeat any without a crest running during a felling event.

#

Meanwhile, I think the crest + event is great for kingdom raids assuming the bonus works on kingdom raids.

#

I wonder if other players are feeling FOMO regarding their world raids as well? I'm just outside the global top 1000 so I'm not summoning multiple dozens or hundreds of event raids. But I would usually summon around 10, maybe more maybe fewer.

#

I would almost prefer if crests could only be obtained through paid sources. And if the event would only affect kingdom raids defeated during the event. You get the best of both - enhanced kingdom raid participation and turnover, and those who really want to get crests can get them.

Don’t know if I’m a fan of paywalls, but that’s just my opinion. To me this games been about grinding and optimizing.. using crests and events strategically is a part of that, no?

So pay to win AND limited by your kingdom mates participation to kill as many raids in 1 hour unless you're running your own alt kingdom to spam them.. (or only relying on the great felling event)? KOrns are also tight most of the time for active kingdoms. Seems a bit counterintuitive to what the game stands for.

I think 2 - 3 crests a month from archpaths is fair. If there were to be other ways to obtain it then I would say throw it in the monumental guild and let it be purchased with proofs of felling or in other guilds as well so it's not as restricted, but it's the most fitting in monumental obviously

I'm all for grinding and optimising. Maybe it's just me that doesn't enjoy using crests and events strategically. Perhaps I might feel differently if crests were easier to obtain, and with more than 0-1 great felling events each month.

What's interesting, and I haven't thought much on this comparison; I'll do all combinations of boss/hard etc dungeons without shrine of luck, and I'll use in-game currencies or $ when orns/spelunking events come around. Yet I don't want to finish my world raids outside a great felling event + crest. Maybe it's that I feel summoning WRB are a greater investment compared with skeleton keys for dungeons 🤔 both take me comparable time to complete, 1 WRB vs dungeon

I am slightly hesitant but suspect I like the idea of 2-3 crests a month from archpaths, plus using proof of felling to buy crests. That's on theme; defeat raids > gain proofs > purchase crests > defeat more raids

The boost is not even that good, not enough to notice the difference in my opinion.

The boost only matters if you are after legendary rarity (not quality) loot, stuff like surtrs sword

It doesn't increase rate of ornate, it's like a dowsing rod for raids

The greater the % of the damage you do to the raid, the greater the chance of more drops. Drops have varying rarity, the highest being legendary rarity. Even at 100% raid damage, these are not guaranteed to drop, so a crest would help that drop chance.

#

It does kinda increase Ornate quality drop rate, because if something doesn't drop, you don't get a chance of a quality roll.
