Beowulf combined with Arisen Spiritgarm is strong ... surely too strong ?
Better than other Beowulfs in any contents, except in Endless.
One of the fastest build for raiding, one of the strongest build in PvP
Is Spiritgarm too strong, or the spells used by it too restrictive for Mage users to the point they prefer Ultima's ?
Without Spiritgarm, can Beowulf compete with other classes with the actual followers' state ?

How much set up does it require gear-wise/spec etc? From the outside it feels like the amount of damage the spiritgarm can output on turn 1 with no buffs seems pretty excessive.

There should be comparisons in various levels of AL, spiritgarm is easy for raiding, but how scalable is it? I still can't beat RS that do 4m per turn because spiritgarm is unreliable. Redlining is not as easy as a RS and the range of damage from spiritgarm can go from 50k to 1m sometimes, plus it has low penetration.
and lets not talk about heretics with their crazy raid damage when fully buffed. Yes ASG does damage while you buff, but how good is it really. From my experience ASG is great in kingdom raids with damage caps because I can cheese it with MM and snotra, but on world raids other classes have outperformed me easily, with close AL, I've experienced it with Heretic and RS

Ok guys, if we are talking pvp here, I was one of the first person to say it was stupid OP when it was released. They took a small nerf. Now use golem turn one with enough Res and you 0 them out unless they’ve got an insane setup or high AL.

As for raiding, I’m using Beowulf Auriga spiritgarm myself and it’s much faster than most classes (unless heretic rngfest and you are lucky). I was annoyed at first that my fresh t10 guild mate with 10 was faster and doing more damage than my Gilga al25 with good gear and t11. Then… I didn’t give a ceap because it’s pve

Yeah for pvp it's another story, but also compare them to G Ursa horizontal slash or BeoH verse spam. I'm hoping for the rework they said they were going to do with ASG bestial bond. Because it gives me more purpose to go a mag build.

i can agree with this, the dog is an outlier so either tune the stats back or dont design other pets like it in the future. Dont touch the skillset please
i take more issue with how much of the pets are not even looked at because of diluted skillset - no i dont want them casting random spells, make them achieve the intended use with varying spells of the same objective

I heard the titans pets are not up to par at all. This has been an ongoing issue really. Lots of pets but very few to replace Phoenix chimera cactus

My AL 38 gilga with over 300k ward cant keep up with clearing raids with a al 15 beoA using ASG. So yes I think it is a great raiding pet. But mostly what I think this post is about is talking about what other pets should look like

Feels like we are playing Pokémon and only end up collecting all those fancy pets but you always keep pikachu out. Well … Sasha I mean because pikachu in game is not great. You get my point

I mean as a beo I basically use 4 pets
ASG for raids, Fey cactus for horde dungeons, Chimera for endless and Cockatrice for BoF
I wanted to use amadan for horde as an alternative to a magic AoE, but it sucks. The problem with pets is that even with bestial bonds, the scalability sucks.
Going into an att or mag build will not affect your pet that significatly
I would ask for a balance between innate pet stats and bonds, in a way that investing makes you invest into mag or attack builds to raise your damage. This way we can turn away from normal tanking build that are better because it can make you proc DC easier. Even equipment with improvement to bestial bonds would be great. And if needed the pet stats would be nerfed.

So, one of my friends doesn’t even bother at all with pets stats. Says it’s rubbish and go full ward. Always better than anything else. He is also high AL (45+)
I was doing the contrary and trying to go full let’s stats but doesn’t seem to be worth the effort

Yeah I was so happy when I got my celestial lute and adorned it with legs of selene for 57% total pet stats, then tried celestial axe with feet of prometeus for ward regen and ward regen overperforms pet stats
