I am driving back the same night. I did the same thing for SKZ concert at Citi Field, and was home around 2:15AM (but also to be fair the drive to NY was 3 hours, while the drive back was somehow around 1.5 hours)

honestly it wouldn’t be a horrible idea. i’ve only went to the lemon drop popup and the lines weren’t horrible at all. i’d say go for it if ur down to come to the city early and dont want to bother with the merch lines at the venue. i think they should be pr much the same so its just up to ur preference. might as well make more use of that 3 hr drive and it would be cute to meet other atiny going the the concert that night as well.

Doors open at 6:30PM
Parking lots @ Citi Field open at 5:30PM to park

ofc! bc i realized that ticketmaster didn't had such info, i called them, they sent me to citi field customer service bc they said that they didn't had that kind of information

The popup itself event (not the cup sleeve one) runs until 5PM, but also it takes about an hour from there to get back to Citi Field by train

Okay, I just looked - if you were to leave the hotel around 3PM (aka, just drop off the stuff and then immediately leave or smt), then it would take you a bit more than an hour to get to the event, and then you'll have only 1h left of the event that you can vibe at (if not less)

I mean, true, but that's also 2 hours of just travel (there & to citi field), with only 1 hour of the pop up event attendance. It's up to them to see if it's worth it, but I'm also trying to explain a realistic option

For example, because I know I want to be at the event for much longer, I'm gonna aim to get to the event at 10:30, so I can queue early & also chill with other ateez fans before the concert (since I missed out on that opportunity for the SKZ concert and was so upset)

(If you're looking at the trains/subway paths, make sure that you set the right departure/arrival time, since the times & costs can vary from what it would be if you leave now VS whenever you're actually planning to leave)

Aka, set the arrival time for Sunday. Makes it more convenient to actually see the more realistic picture of your traveling during the day of the concert

I got there for stray kids like 30 mins - hour earlier and yes I felt like there wasn't really anytime to look around... I like getting places early ish to get used to the surroundings first. So hopefully aiming a little earlier this time... and yes for the freebies as well

They send this every year. It's mostly in relation to DSLR cameras (you know, those big fat chunky cameras that paparazzis carry around).

So, those aren't allowed into the venue.

And live-streaming the concert isn't allowed. I've heard that this is pretty strict & some venues had to remove attendees because of this.

But, overall, you can still take pics & vids at the concert.
