making the minimum ads to 0.5 will completely fuck over the majority of krunker players, whom play at roughly 0.1-0.3 from what ive seen. Now by all means, setting the default ads (presetting it) to 0.5 for fresh accounts as opposed to having it at 1 ads will be a meaningful change, as newer players wont be nerfed and can improve a lot quicker, however they should still have rhe ability to go as low as 0 ads

Now my main concern is: guns like rev, semi and sniper are already overpowered asf, now we'd just be buffing them by nerfing other classes. I've heard that this suggestion and many others are designed to make pubs and comp similar, but i dont see rhe correlation between ADS power with pubs, and if this is the case then add knife throwing snd crossbows too.

Another thing was making tournament viewing easier: this makes absolutely no sense because firstly, why do we ruin the game for played who actually play for those who sit around? this in turn wont increase activity or growth of the game but just stagnate or even kill it even slower

All in all, while I do see the vision, we should aim to implement this in a way where its still somewhat applied, but it doesnt directly kill the experience for played who actually play verse trying to benefit it for people who dont play

Firstly you are right that the game had bigger hitboxes back then etc, but fundamentally it’s still the same game. You still put ur crosshair on a player and click. Nowadays with low ads and peekers advantage being so prominent in this game, it’s too easy for someone to abuse peekers and full beam someone while going really fast, which forces other players to also play in the same way. And honestly mozz u should know this better than anyone else and recognise that hard point is resembling less and less as actually hard point, so im a little confused.

Secondly im also confused on why you think that being able to play fast e.g pushing in fast is going to be killed. I actually believe that smg and lmg are indirectly being buffed if they play close quarter angles while going fast and not moving in a straight line. Being able to play fast on 1ads has been shown possible multiple times by players such as m2ch bambino wingman. And with the overall playerbase being better nowadays than they were in 2020, it’s actually more accessible to play faster than it was back then.

The end of that 2nd point links to this being that with the game being harder back then with 1ads, players who were able to play fast were regarded as gods by the overall community because they were doing things that the average player couldn’t. This is comparable to how csgo pros have spray patterns mastered, but csgo would never remove spray patterns to make the game easier for the casuals. Krunker did this and it shows because now the average ranked demon can play for a few hundred hours and aim and move like a pro.

Also you are talking like if we add 0.5-1ads the game is never being touched again. It’s common sense that some guns will be buffed or nerfed indirectly, but it’s easy to change the numbers and stats of those guns accordingly?

On the topic of viewer experience in tournaments, if this game wants to move in a more competitive orientation, then it’s a no brainer that the viewer experience needs to be improved. Because how can competitive be appreciated if top play is messy and in shambles.

And finally no new players will not suffer. There is skill based match making in pubs, and any new player won’t complain about being on 1ads because they never knew it could be changed. And if u think that new players will not like 1ads, then I don’t get it because I’m sure new players were having a great time in 2020 when the game was at its prime. And there wasn’t even sbmm back then.

1 - viewing experience - can be fixed by nerfing movement more in comp
2 - first time user experience - can be fixed with seperating new players ( which is alrdy being done to an extent ) and fixing default settings and few other things like spawnn traps
3 - too much freedom - thats how krunker is and thats what makes it special

it doesnt zoom as much as other guns do on 1ads

they still have custom maps for most old jumps which got removed form map reworks

all they would have to do is set those to 1x slide speed

or devs can just pull out pubs from that entire system and put it on a diff one which can be done as its been done once alrdy for ranked

as comp preset doesnt allow any cosmetics or anything but ranked does
