This is from a competitive standpoint. The meta has evolved and revolved around players running around at 200+ speed, and perfectly tracking people with peekers advantage. This makes holding a site extremely difficult e.g 2nd site industry. Forcing players on 0.5-1ads will make it harder for people to run around and track people while being on a high ads. This also applies to players who are roaming. This overall makes the experience for players and tournament viewers much better as it slows down the game and makes it easier for viewers to understand what's going on and makes a more healthy hardpoint experience.
