a 5 minute timeout for logins (if you fail to login in 10 tries for example) would make "bruting" significantly more difficult, and it's significantly easier to implement

there is no valid reason for Krunker to not have a login timeout system, a dysfunctional one is implement with "doing that too much", but you can bypass that by refreshing the page. There is also a "too many IPs" thing if you connect too many times, which isn't bypassable without changing your IP. They just have to reuse that.

In the "Unlock non-migrated accounts" suggestion/thread, I was basing a lot of my arguments on the fact that these timeout systems make bruting difficult enough to where a large quantity of accounts just could not get bruted (so locking the accounts wouldn't have done anything). I thought that this is such a basic and obvious feature to have I didn't even test if it actually exists/works or not, I assumed "doing that too much" was the timeout. The mess that is Krunker never fails to amaze me.

netify ai/resources/vpns/nordvpn vpn IP lists are public, they can be blocked/banned/blacklisted just like any IP ban, which is what is done for tor already, or at least functions in the same way
even mulvad has it's IPs publicly listed
I'm sure there is some service that doesn't (tor bridges, but they aren't that easy to get)

vpns, proxies, tor, they all do the same thing of routing your internet traffic through a different machine which has a different IP
