its 5 years ago i think already

with a demo of a game thats now near 12 yerars old

It blew away Krunker immediately in certain aspects, but that is also due sids code. well I saw its potential of using webassembly (which was still barely used compared to now!)

It was ported from a c++ game

And I knew that was the way then, you can still play it - bananabread on GitHub, although someone took the project and expanded it again by adding more of the ported game. Fun to try, but it does start to look outdated now, 20+ year old engine 😬
