Mastering you usually compress and limit stuff, compression smoothens out the waveform's peak you know when you see the waveform peaking too much it does that, then sometimes you EQ to remove unwanted frequencies that are "annoying", sometimes you also choose to add a warmer then at the end you add a limiter and push the track to 0db

with leads you usually cut out anything below 300hz and sometimes boost the highs

The bass you can do whatever you want

the chords you remove 100-150hz

with leads bass and chords u need to sidechain or it's gonna fuck around with teh drums
