In my AU, Henry also technically helped Ellie to escape in the PD timeline after smashing Grigori, and she escaped on her own, but both escaped separately ofc

In my AU, she also sees him in a tavern, and then tries to shoot him. Because it's an au where circumstances made Henry everyone's enemy

My AU is called "messing with the timeline", and the premise is that Henry, while enjoying his day after Triple Threat ending with Ellie and Charles, has suddenly gotten into a backrooms like situation where instead of getting into the backrooms he gets thrown around the timeline, and because he was mostly thrown around places where he got to choose something, from the perspective of people around him, he just vanishes.

Which leads to him accidentally abandoning Ellie IN THE MIDDLE of escaping the wall, which leads him to vanishing during PBT, which leads him to be hated by every side imaginable.

And his goal that AU is to get back to his actual timeline.

But I was thinking about possible endings, and there's something I found nice about my au

There's endings "Back to friends" and "Back to friends v2", where the first one is him getting back into his timeline, and V2 is him becoming friends with his new timeline's Charles and Ellie

Also might be an interesting perspective to take it from but I think that route has my favorite successful options

It's kind of rare that the successful options are done well in routes, but SSR does it good

because every one of the paths is extremely short, the secret achievements are too easy to obtain and the entire game seems like it was rushed

I guess I can see where you're coming from with the short paths

But honestly I feel like a lot of the comedy makes up for it

Even though the paths are shorter I feel like it's definitely gotten funnier by the end of the series

However

I do also want to acknowledge the point I made a while back about how just because the game has so much more doesn't mean I think it's the best one simply because there's so much more for there to be compared to each other

Like I said, CtM is one big lasagna that has some unevenly cooked spots in the middle, but it's still a lot of lasagna

Just because the paths are shorter that shouldn't be too looked down upon it, there's more paths so I'd say it's fair
