Game dev is a lot harder than people think I feel, a lot can just stop you from working on a game and it didn't help that the AtT devs teased the project far too early when they had almost nothing to show, and they ended uo having a lot of eyes on the project to the point they became overwhelmed

I've not even done proper game dev myself because I can't code, and my own very short fangame took 9 months of my life to complete it despite it being so simple, it really isn't as easy and some folks think it is despite it just being stickmen animations

I saw a video of someone making a fan game and documenting it and it took like 2 years to make and I saw all the pain and mental health problems it comes with it, but also the more interesting parts of it and how it grows bigger and bigger.

Plus from what I heard from the development of Cuphead, it can be the absolute worst in terms of work load and literally everything else.

It makes more sense because Innersloth has more to work with for AU, while THSC is a finished series, other than making small references, puff making some silly videos (/pos) and releasing merchandise, there isn't much they can do with the series anymore without seriously tampering with it, and a lot of fans who are happy with the series being put to rest after 12 years of being worked on (2008 - 2020) may not like that

Yeah, it's good to announce the game first and then release some sketches or screenshots from the process. Show interesting parts but not the best ones so that the game can still surprise you with something, just so that the trailer can be interested after the game is released. If the game is spoilered too early, the fans gradually lose enthusiasm because the development takes too long.

His birthday is pretty ambiguous because we don't really need that info about him. We know he's 27 when Fleeing the Complex takes place but from my recollection I don't remember there being a proper birthday for Henry.

The character.

There are a lot of theories surrounding the span of time between Breaking the Bank and Completing the Mission, there are a few I actually do like but there are some ques to when it could take place and for how long.

But it's pretty confusing either way.

If we just consider that EtP happens close to BtB (which is possible), it would be sometime in early September, BtB happens in late August, and if CtM happens a year after EtP from the Multiverse Correction scene, we can conclude that Henry was about 26 when BtB happened and 27 around CtM.

It's weird to me how everything happens in a year but that's how it's presented.
