now seems like a great time to interject with my argument for why Among Us should get a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (free upgrade ofc). Handheld Boost increases the handheld rendering resolution to 1080p at the cost of disabling touchscreen, which is a shame since it's very useful for completing certain tasks. A native switch 2 release would enable mouse controls (which would be huge for certain tasks), take advantage of the more precise gyroscope, and would probably add it to the short list of games that can run at 120 fps.

It's extremely intuitive too, I've started playing pokopia with joycons instead of the pro controller because of how useful the mouse mode is. The transition into and out of mouse mode is easy too, it's handled by the system not the game so the game just has to implement what happens once you're in mouse mode as opposed to every developer needing to reimplement the transition

you just place it down and it knows to act as a mouse, but you can still use all the face buttons and triggers

asteroids, burger task, crystal assembly, O2 leaves, anything that involves moving things around would be significantly benefited by having mouse controls as an option

the switch's big selling point is flexibility and portability, and i feel like switch 2 introduces flexibility of controls as one of those main points
