1.Role:IMPOSTER: Hypnotist
1.1. Killing
The hypnotist can kill normally or with taking control of a victim.
1.2 hypnotizing
The hypnotist can hypnotize another player by the button next to the kill button(or vent button). After that you're in like a choosing screen like the shapeshifter. After you choosed a victim the POV goes to that player. Then you can vent,kill or return. The victim can't move but you can move him by just moving yourself like yeah controlling because he is in control. There is no hint that he got hypnotized at the victim but.. The hypnotist stays still at his spot where he beginned to hypnotize.
1.3.Cooldown
Killing: Same as other imposters.
Hypnotizing: 60 seconds time each hypnotizing and 20 seconds time while hypnotizing.
1.4. Special ability: After the hypnotist made 3 kills(no kills from other imposters count) the hypnotist goes invisible while hypnotizing but the victim doesn't
1.5. Bonus
The hypnotizing will cause confusion in the crew and makes the game harder for the crewmates because they dont know if the crewmate actually made the kill or not!

2.Role:CREWMATE: Zoommate
2.1. Crewmate
Kinda a normal Crewmate but something is cool about this.
2.2. Ability
He has a button and every minute he can run 3x faster for 5 seconds!
2.3 Bonus
He can run off fast to escape from being killed or Run as a fast as he can to the meeting table to tell something he needs!

What’s the deal with 90% of lobbies being an attempt to get the dev team’s attention? The lobbies all say that among us has a grooming problem? I am not condoning this but am curious as I have never seen/heard about this and the lobbies say this has been a problem for years?

speaking from personal opinion here: I also have never seen it being an issue before, but unfortunately someone who hacks a game either a) plays a toon more than the average person so may uncover or blow out of proportion these problems they see or b) doesn't really care about the potential negative impact of their actions, just to prove a point.

Team: Crew
Explanation: The Forger can leave a dummy of anyone where he stands, and he can leave more dummies as long as the cooldown expires. This dummy is immobile and will appear on the Forger's map. All dummies will disappear when the Forger dies or any meeting begins. When the Impostor kills a dummy, they will encounter a dead body with cotton coming out of it instead of bone. Dead dummies cannot be reported and will dissappear from Forger's map.
Settings:
• Number of Dummies; 1 to 4.
• Dummy placing cooldown; 5s to 60s.

Role name: Serial Killer (Not the best ide I had though)
Team: Impostor
Explanation: Serial Killer's kill cooldown is decrease for each kill. Also Serial Killer's cooldown doesn't stop while he was interacting with other subjects like vents, cams etc. To balancing that, Serial Killer's have much more cooldown for enact sabotages than other imposters depending on settings. Also crewmates have much more time to fix critical sabotages causes from Serial Killer. Serial Killer's cooldown can be set differently from other impostors.
Settings:
• Kill Cooldown; 10s to 60s.
• Decreasing of Cooldown; 1 to 5.
• Sabotage Cooldown; 30s to 60s.
• Extra Length of Crisis; 10s to 30s. (Crew members will have more time to stop critical sabotages)

Role name: Trapper (Counterpart of Impostor's Hunter)
Team: Crew
Explanation: Trapper can place a secret trap on the ground. Trapper will be able to pass through this comfortably, but the moment any other step on this trap, they stick to that place and cannot move. When someone is caught in the trap, an anonymous icon will appear in the trapper's map. Impostors can smash the trap and escape after falling into trap. If trapped person dies or escapes, icon on the map will disappear. Traps only can caught one person at a time. If trapper run out of traps, can remove the previous trap -even if trap caught someone already- to replace somewhere else. Placing and removing is both same actions, so they sharing cooldown, so if trapper can't place a trap right after removing.
Settings:
• Number of Traps; 1 to 3.
• Placing/Removing Cooldown; 10s to 60s.

Explanation: Hunter can place a trap in any task. Every crewmate tries to open a trapped task will die. Ghosts can disable traps like fixing sabotages. Disabling has different difficulties depending on the settings. Difficulity have 4 stages; easy, mid, hard, ultimate. In easy ghosts will encounter a simple disabling task, in mid ghosts will encounter a disabling task which still easy as previous difficulty but taking a little more time, in hard ghosts will encounter a advance disabling task, in ultimate ghosts will encounter a disabling task which advance as hard difficulty but taking much more time.
Settings:
• Number of Traps; 1 to 3.
• Trapping Cooldown; 20s to 90s.
• Difficulity of Traps; 1 to 4.

Explanation: Captain can place sensors in several rooms (Only to rooms, blue areas, not hallways nor outside). Sensors work similarly to the doorlog in Mira HQ, but the Captain's sensors is hidden for other players. Captain can continuously monitor the doorlog from his tablet even if not all of the sencors is placed. Like the doorlog in Mira HQ, Captain's sensors only records few events depending on settings, and if communication is sabotage, all historical data is deleted. Unlike the doorlog in Mira HQ, if settings are allowed to do, Captain's sensors will record ventings anonymously. Once the sensors are in placed they cannot be removed.
Settings:
• Record venting; Yes/No
• Numbers of Sensors; 2 to 5.
• Placing cooldown: 5s to 60s.
• Recording events: 5 to 30.

Explanation: Poisoner can poison a crewmate, shortly after being poisoned a crewmate loses color perception and begins seeing everyone anonymously. If Poisoner poisons a crewmate a second time, the crewmate will die when any meeting begins. Poisoner has separate kill and poison buttons, but when one is triggered, the other goes on cooldown too.

• Poisoning Delay: 5s to 20s.

The hunter role would be cool in concept but I think it has the potential to make it too easy to kill someone without any trace of it getting back to you. Just rig a task without anyone watching and you don’t even have to be in the area when a crewmate does the task, they just randomly explode leaving everyone dumbfounded without any evidence to follow

I feel like it could potentially work in the impostor's favor though if they kill a dummy, vent away, then a crewmate comes in and finds it, and then as they go to leave the area they’re spotted by another crewmate that thinks they might have killed the dummy

Forger is a strategic role, gives you a great power but you must use correctly otherwise it will cause more nuicance than the impostors.

You can get great information by using dummies, you can defend yourself with placing a dummy when impostor try to attack you, you can clear yourself anytime instantly (It would make you a primary target), you can create a dummy for alibis to you etc.

For example, you are on the cams and you don't want to be killed by the impostor, so you place a dummy next to you, so impostor can think there is 2 people watching cams, so they won't kill or try to double kill with their teammate. You also can place one or more really obvious dummies somewhere before going to cams and when you die to a double kill or something people will now you are died somewhere so they can reduce players. You can place a dummy in a long task where there is a vent nearby to lure impostors; If dummy is killed either way around you will know impostor was there, and you can watch to vent system to analyze the situation.

Hunter is making reducing harder but not killing easier. If you saw a dead body on the task you can avoid to use that task, also if there is a task with deadbody you can explain to situation to other crewmates like; "Dead body was in electrical, in front of wire task". Also Hunter can't kill normally so he must have a tactic to eliminate remaining crewmates each turn. Like if you are a crewmate in last 5 with a 1 Hunter, don't finish your common task, it would be the best option to get the most deaths so Hunter will try to trap that tasks. In the beginning, hunter is a strong play, but in the late game there is so less people to do a task you trapped. Also most of ghost already done their tasks in late game, so they will focus on your traps and disable them quickly as possible. This is why there is a difficulity level system, to give more time to Hunter. Hunter must be cooperative with his teammate and must do most of the job in the beggining of the game. Since he would be worser than their teammate, Hunter can sacrifice or gain suspicious to themself for saving their teammate.

Trapper is a minor role like Scientist, I know trapping people sounds like a major role attribute but this isn't really that case.

Trapper purpose is forcing impostor to smash/crack the trap. So they can reduce/deduct who is impostor. If someone is trapped check who is then leave them alone, if trap smashes or trapped player dies, you will notice. Two possibilities; You found a body or you didn't. If you didn't found a body either a viper kill or that player was a impostor. So you can either find a impostor or reduce some players who cannot be viper. If you find a body, you know killer where and when, you can use information with other peoples information to eliminate possibilities. Also if you know trapped player isn't a impostor you can remove the trap, so they can go to their tasks. Vise versa; If you suspect someone and if they trapped you can leave them like that, so they can't kill without smashing the trap or wait all the way along to meeting.

The only thing that might be inappropriate about this role is that it's very vulnerable to abuse. There's a chance someone might deliberately trap you and leave you there for the rest of the match, and they can do this again and again. So it might require something like a time limit.

You can remove traps, why you leave then for dead? If it is tactically, you can lure impostor or vice versa, if impostor see a player standing still, they can suspect that is a trap and avoid to trapped person. And I already mantioned removing the trap and possible time limit constraint

Why wouldn’t the impostor just kill the trapped player though. And how long would it take the trapper to make it to the trapped crewmate to free them and then also that kind of falls into the hard clear issue again because now you know whoever frees you is hard clear. Which hard clears are never a good thing, at least not for any form of even remotely competitive playing

Even in casual lobbies hard clears are bad, makes it unfun for the impostors if every crewmate has a way to clear themselves

Generally the only way to hard clear that I find acceptable is medscan cause usually that’s RNG, it requires two players to have the task and I haven’t really seen situations where too many people have it to where it ruins anything (although I do think the devs should still do something to make it not visual at all when visual tasks are off for consistency)

Oh yeah. I didn't mention how frees mechanic work. You can remove the trap from anywhere, this isn't include placing. You must go to that place to place a trap but you don't need to go there again to remove it. But in early game impostors have all the reasons to kill a trapped player. Because they can't run away, and you could isolate them very easily, your part is run away without being caught/suspicious.

Still role cannot be perfect. It is created by myself, and not a real video game-development studio. It can be abuse, and have some weak points

Yes if you need to know who is stuck, you must go check. But you could free a impostor waiting to you, you must frees them logically, everyone can play the innocent. And still someone can say "I am trapper" and trap someone to clear yourself but everyone can play the innocent; If one of the impostor frees by trapper and if know who is Trapper, they can kill Trapper then pretend to be Trapper with trapping their teammate.

I am agree with role is not complete and could be annoying but I would play in a lobby with this role with reasonable people like my friends. I wouldn't play in a random lobby with this role because people would use wrong/intentionally bad/random and only cause throwing the game.

I will do a rework about Trapper later because I think it has a potential but I don't want to be unfunctional like stuck a hallway between 3 room, for someone watch me 7/24 to try to find imposter

I like multiple different styles, though one of the styles I don't like is "classic modded".

(Roles roles roles and all of them are capped at 1x and team-locked so you can literally solve the game meeting 1 with no murders just by sharing your role name. Bad design, and they made a bad fix for the bad design.)

Classic Mode roleless is good. All roles added responsibly is good. Oops All Engineers is good. A few select roles on with others off is good. Killrun/Task Race/Shift and Seek/Hide and Seek are good.

Imp roles in general are easier to balance than crewmate roles, because you don't need to worry about the role itself being a hard clear. I do think Innersloth understands this, since all the imp roles have added visuals to them.

I like faking tasks as crewmate. Aside from that faking cams strat... Btw for that make sure you're the LESS opportune one to kill. Works well on Fungle scope, tio, just make sure you're tucked in a way where the other person is more snipeable both from up top and from the vent.

Faking wires. Specifically Wires, when you don't have wires, on Polus. A crewmate is more likely to call you out. So it gives you a soft clear if they call you out.

A lot of people fake keys or go up to keys by habit. So faking keys isn't that useful. Much less so than keeping an eye on who skips keys.

Card swipe and boarding pass are right next to each other and everybody is doing them in a group anyways. You're not likely to get called out and I'm faking the wrong one there.

But if someone catches you faking wires when you don't have them, that's more likely to be a crewmate, because an impostor probably would not catch that. Imps aren't usually paying that close attention to what commons people are doing.

I seriously do not get how any expert player who is actually expert at the game can look at viper and hate it. In expert lobbies you are dealing with insanely efficient crew so any imp role that throws a wrench into the gears is a valuable addition.

Shapeshifter exploits players who zoom too closely in on tasks and end up staying away from groups by getting insane frames on them when they are alibiless.

Phantom exploits the usual procedure of sussing any players seen in an area by not being seen.

Viper exploits those who camp vitals/admin to try to quickly report bodies by making the body just fade away before the camper can find the body.

Every imp role is valuable for attacking different places in the normal procedure that efficient and strong lobbies use to find the imps.

I Created a new game mode for anyone who wants to try it out. I call it chaos mode. It works best with 15 people lobbies and 3 imps
Settings and rules:
• All crewmates are noisemakers
• Imps are aware when a noisemaker is killled
• The 3 imps are vipers
• Kill cd is 10 seconds
• Dissolve time 5 seconds
• .5 crewmate vision
• 15 second voting time
• No lights sabotage ( added this because we had problems with not being able to get lights back on cause of instant kills and reports)
• (Optional) number of tasks.
3 tasks works best for this mode imo. Not many task wins but it’s definitely possible for it to happen
• Emergency meeting countdown is at 60 seconds. I do this so crew is forced to have run around and report

This game mode may seem very easy for imps but believe it or not it isn’t. Played about 40 games of this game mode and imps have won only 7 times.

Feel free to try this game mode out! It’s so much fun!
I’ve gotten great reviews from this game mode from my friends and randos that join my lobbies!

so i was in a public lobby and i got imp, got a perfect kill with no witnesses and even locked it INSIDE the doors, i got an alibi but my stupid impostor teammate killed my alibi Infront of me and phantomed away, so i panicked and just ran back to the body i killed which thank god dissolved, but the next round said stupid teammate just killed Infront of everyone and got voted out, and apparently a detective interrogated me for my alibis death and found me the one responsible apparently, i still had a chance to win with a double kill, so i killed Infront of my teammate and another subject came by and he should've killed too but he just stood there like a dummy and let the crewmate report it, all of it was not an accident , it was a carefully and calculated plan merely to vote me out for no reason other than pure coincidence, to make every side piece of the puzzle suddenly connect into me being an impostor, you know why all of this happened? there isnt any hackers. its the amazon web services fault for having an outage. snapchat, roblox, all prime services, among us, etc all use their servers for connection. the US east region server is down which is why no one can play rn
