Ragequit last night. Got to experience all in 1 game:
Players committing their votes too early in the first meeting while thete is still a lot of time to discuss and a lot to discuss.
Players only writing in Spanish.
Getting killed in office and watching a crewmate walk over my body double back towards it and walk away.
Next meeting it takes 30 seconds for anyone to even say anything. The first action to take place was a vote... the first message from the reporter was not saying where my body was.

The expert tag is meaningless if players who arent filtering for it can find and join my lobby.

Wanna get peoples opinions on something that has come up frequently again thanks to Genshin collab.

When multiple players are wearing the same color concealing cosmetic is it reasonable for the host to ask for someone to change their cosmetic so they look more distinct?

Im in the "yes" camp on this. I dont think identifying who you saw should ever be a challenge in this game.

And to be clear if only 1 player is wearing the cosmetic its fine. Im talking strictly about multiple players wearing the same color concealing fit.

Bad Role Idea (its either inherently overpowered or needs more timd in the kitchen): A crewmate role that doesnt join meetings until voting phase begins.

Living payers will be at the meeting table but dead bodies will not be cleared out yet. The role will not be able to interact with anything (cannot complete tasks, fix sabs, open doors, report bodies, etc)

The players at the meeting still see you as a player that is there on the tablet screen but obviously you will be nonresponsive until voting begins.

I think that if the Detective is the one to report the body, the body's location should automatically be filled out in Notes. Alongside that, the Viper type of Impostor should either be forcibly set if it was a Viper kill or disabled if it wasn't (again, if the Detective is the one to report the body).

Allow me to offer this as a partial rebuttal: Even if the body is hidden by something, the player is always certain of where their own location is, and reports can only be done on nearby bodies. Autofilling the location for your own reports only adds information that the reporting Detective already knows.

The danger of fake claims is completely dependant on the cap and % settings. Any role set to a max of 1, don't try it unless you're ready to get into a 5050 with the real one.

Max of 2 is still risky, and more so the higher the % is. I dare say that 2x at high % is worse than 1x, because it's still too dangerous to fake claim (if the real ones speak up), and the risk of fake claiming makes it even more desirable for the real ones to speak up, granting TWO hard clears via role claim.

Engineer is the only one you could safely fake claim at 1 or 2x, and that's ONLY if you see one vent before anyone else does, kill them, and claim what you now know is already dead.

3x means even if all 3 others spawn and speak up, the crew needs to figure out which of you is the liar. They can't 5050 that. They'd need to eject three crewmates to guarantee ejecting one impostor. That's too steep of a price to pay, so all they can do is note that one of four is a liar and wait to get more info.

The role is still new, so I haven't given it a go yet.

But with people starting to understand how it works, it's getting to the time when I'll be test running that.

The fact that it's a powerful enough role that people don't want to claim it for fear of being targeted is expected to play in favor... waiting to claim it until mid to late game with "vital information" isn't really suspicious.

Which means imp can remember location of a past body, spot someone still alive that wasn't clear for it, and hit them with "[Crewmate] was at the location of that body first meeting."

And likely no one but the accused will be able to counter that false info.
