I don’t see how hackers find it enjoyable to hack in a small bean game, it wasn’t as popular as it is before but they consistently still hack in this game like they aren’t already bored of it.
Hackers in Among Us 2020-2022 were quite common still hacking in 2025 feels like a stretch

Honestly that comes so CLOSE to a team-agnostic role I wanted personally: If you get voted, the person you vote also dies (after the meeting, so imps can't auto-win on 3 via killing like that).

I call it "Scrapper" lol. Because the idea is that as you're sent out to your death, you go down FIGHTING and kill someone with you.

And I could see even a crewmate on Death Row grabbing hold of whoever they think is the real killer, and refusing to let go. Forcing them both to die.

Whenever I die first, the modded roles stop working and they dont get assigned properly- because the mod is on public servers, it cant assign someone else to do all of that unless they also have the mod- but even if you have someone else with the mod in your lobby, the roles still dont work if youre the first killed.

but i love the immortal role. it makes people actually do their tasks

their should be something for afterlife when you become a ghost. a new reason to do tasks

maybe the first ghost to complete their tasks gets to be revived only once or maybe they get one message only to send to crew

that would surely get them working ;)

Leaving the game is highly disrespectful for everyone else who is wanting to play a game of Among Us.

Have you ever been imp but 5 players leave right at the start of the game and you find your first good kill and oops the game is already over because you have obtainee majority.
Is that satisfying?
Is that engaging?

Innersloth doesnt think so. But theres a good chunk of players who only want to engage with the imposter side of the game and not the crew side of the game. Without any punishment system in place these players have no reason to not just leave every game they dont get imp so they can only engage with what they want and therefore create a worse experience for everyone else.

(And yes I acknowledge the bugs and the annoying "button bypass" with this system. Those are not what Im talking about)

A tip for Phantom! It's not just for escape, it's also good for scouting and stalking.

You don't need to make sure your movements aren't sus when invisible, and you can check around if someone is alone before showing yourself and killing them. Then just take off like a normal imp.

You can also stealth follow that annoyingly scan-cleared crewmate until they're alone. Then get rid of the lil pest you can't frame!

See two crewmates go in somewhere together? Follow them invisibly. Wait for one to leave, kill the other. Now the one they were with looks real bad.

It’d be interesting but you’d basically have to have this role and shapeshifter active at the same time. Only having this duplication role on would mean that any time someone is seen in two places at once, it’s an automatic impostor with no way to argue out of it

Having shapeshifter on would cast some doubt though that rather than a duplicator it’s a shapeshifter framing you, so it’s just a kinda weird thing that the role wouldn’t be usable on its own due to such a fatal weakness but would be somewhat fine with shapeshifter active

And I imagine that every role needs to be usable on their own without such flaws

I feel like at that point the kill should just automatically be whoever you killed. You kill them, take control over them, maybe slowly over time their body would show signs of decay so that other crews know that after a while the person is actually dead. Just don’t be the last person seen near them I guess and maybe you can do something with it

But that would also require innersloth to do something to make controlling 2 characters at once doable and intuitive

Another thing is kill cooldowns/killing in general. To take control over the first crewmate, that’s a kill. Then how long do you have to wait before you can actually use that zombified crewmate to kill someone else? Should it be the same as the normal kill cooldown or longer?

the body report glitch bans are PARTICULARLY bad tonight. usually it barely happens in my lobby, tonight it was every single game.

Paragraph: I got a Detective role and was doing my tasks
During sabotage of lights all were in electric trying to fix the light like idiots and not letting one person do it
I was just watching the ppl try to do lights and out of no where stack kill
When ppl saw this they reported and blamed it on me REASON: saw me just seeing and not report (my reason I was lagging at that time and was trying to figure out who did it) I told them i hv trash but these **** were so overconfident and just voted me out (OMFG why is the lobby even called expert 😭 😭)

Okay, small thing: I’m apart of several server lobbies. And they normally kick the random players if they need room for a friend.

From my experience, there will always be a reason to be kicked/banned. from the bug/hack that happens during a report or after someone gets banned and they player(s) leave due to error, or because they want room for a friend, or are clearing out a lobby for a host swap and the private button lagged, or are trying to locate a hacker.

I hate when that happens. It's obnoxious. I don't venture into many public classic lobbies anymore unless I recognize at least one of the players. Otherwise, it's to another thing or hide and seek until a friend invites me.

Viper role is fine and all but now it created a bug because something wasn't optimized for normal dead bodies in the process. too much of a coincidence that we get this report body glitch now after the role came to the game
