Okay so this is a thing that exists in mods already typically called disguiser. There is sadly a fundamental flaw with it: The role does not work in Voice lobbies.

If IS actually released a set of roles where the new imp role is a disguiser type role the VC players feel left out because the role is useless to them

its definitely not 10%- maybe 10% of the COMMUNITY but not the playerbase, playerbase is 97% mobile players if i remember correctly, and most of those people are little john on their moms ipad🥀

but yeah they can just play without it or, yknow, try to fake the persons voice if they really wanted to- i dont think we should hinder other players to make a small minority not "feel left out"

Heres my perspective: Tryhard VC style Among Us is dying. The last really good thing we got was Shapeshifter. (Fungle was also nice tbf but we only really add Fungle to the mix if we need to support more than 10 players)

The last role update only made this issue worse. None of the roles in the last bunch added anything of much value. Crew doesnt need more tools because we are already playing with settings that are practically as imp sided as possible and crew still sports an above 90% winrate.

I am in the minority of players who is kinda holding onto hope that IS will release something that will shake up the competitive meta

If the next imp role is another dud I am very likely packing my bags for good. I find other social deduction games are much better these days but Among Us holds a special place as the first one I decided to actually get kinda good at.

We need better stuff. Id be so cool to have an imposter who can for example hide the body and we have to find it like genaully look for it. Ie. Blue was under the blanket or hidden in a vent..or under a mushroom. Id also be cool to add finger prints or inspect the body to find clues of the killer.

It's really annoying, because it's not my fault at all and the game can't be played normally like this. I've only been able to play one game in the last few days.

Please fix it – it's not fair for me to get banned for a server/game error. At least make it different when a player leaves on their own and when they get kicked. And if possible, I'll ask for an unban.

"Confirmed Imp" = The player you are ejecting right now. Doesn't need to be explained further.

Statistics is just a side/optional thing to look at. It doesn't affect game operation. I urually hold a piece of paper to look at a line.

The best way to use the friend list, is NOT a long term thing; but usually active within a day or 2 of adding.

When you add someone, make this plan in advance... when you log into the game join a brief game, send invites to your friends... that way they get a clue that you are online. They send an invite back to signify they are online.

Depending if you are hosting you send out another invite.. or join thier invite

its almost definitely fine if its only visible to other people with the mod or only visible to yourself, the only real question is if its fine if it just gives you access to cosmetics

I was more worried about settings tweaked. For example someone has a 0 kill cooldown with 0 angel protect cooldown. Then the host leaves then i inherit it. If i play a game then leave then start a new game, i will have those same settings.

What happens if i inherit a lobby like that and someone thinks im hacking then reports me. I just inherited the odd settings, didn't hack anything. Can the devs tell the difference ?
