Whenever I try and join a game i get error message "You Disconnected from the server..." However i know i do not have any network issues. Each time it signs me out of my account so i need to resign in each time. I had this issue 3 months ago but cant remember how i fixed it. I was playing the game fine a couple of hours ago. I don't have a problem with restricting gameplay elements; I have a problem with hosts forcing this experience on other players. there will almost never be a time where several people are constantly on the cameras looking for impostors, it's always one to three people at most. players' skills should be challenged, yes, but the challenge should be self-imposed—not moderated by a host that will ban you if you don't agree with the rules laid out.

furthermore, these lobbies aren't "expert" lobbies. there's nothing "expert" about restricting gameplay elements and forcing others to abide by your ruleset. the gameplay elements serve a purpose and it is your job to be familiar with how they work, what to do with them, and how to avoid being screwed over by them. if anything, having the cameras active makes for a more difficult experience than without, because the impostors can be watched from afar, and therefore more "expert"

all "expert" lobbies do is make things easier for both sides, and if the host goes the full gambit and decides things like self reporting aren't allowed, the crew team gets the upper hand. this isn't to say that self reports are common enough to be considered cheap (they aren't) but self reports can be used for a variety of interesting plays and can manipulate the crew if you know what scenario you're trying to set up which, again, shows your expertise. banning self reports altogether destroys these opportunities and prevents impostors from doing anything skillful during gameplay other than place kills well and be good at escaping, which are the basic tenets of being an impostor, completely undermining the "expert" concept as far as kills are concerned.

these lobbies are not "expert", they're "bare minimum". they force players to only engage with the bare minimum objectives of their teams like they're newbies. if you have trouble playing in these lobbies from a gameplay perspective, you must have done something stupid

in the grand scheme of things, however, they're worthless and the people who host them don't know what they're doing

coming back to the "no cameras" rule, Mira HQ is the one map that demands that you learn its gimmicks to master it. the doorlogs are the crux of the map's appeal because they lay out the actual alibis of players, which the roundabout venting system circumvents. as such, this map is the antithesis to what "expert" lobbies consider expert, because its layout demands a more intricate approach that you can't find on any other map. I reckon that this is why expert lobbies aren't found on Mira HQ, because without the logs you'll be fumbling around and wins will be scattered all over the place

how i usually restrict people in my lobbies is

• please do not group up
• if you want to camp cams / admin, please do your tasks first

both are fine in moderation (e.g. walking around with a friend or two, or spending alot of time on cams/admin when tasks are done) but when your overdoing them, the game gets less fun

istg some guy will sit on cams the entire round until theres 4 people left and be like "Lets skip and get a task win" bro.. u got 7 tasks to do...

• more voting time (like 120s or something- i did 120s for a while and would often not even have enough time in a meeting, so now i do 150
• role distribution is fine, thats pretty much just preference- i play 1 imp and 40% chance for each, so 80% chance of getting a role and 20% of not

Im personally an insane imposter. I was once in a game with 15 ppl, miraculously, no one left. My teammate decided to kill someone infront of 2 ppl and he got voted out on the first game. So it was literally just me. Not a single person suspected me the entire game, I legit killed like 8 ppl myself and the rest got voted out
