True, but how can you be so sure that the exact count of angels are going to occupy the Impostor(s) literally anything could happen, and that is why it's the GA's responsibility to accommodate for everyone, adding more GAs means adding more to the CD and less to the duration.

From what I know about GA: Once the Impostor attacks a shielded player, their cooldown is half of the original one, and the protection usually has priority on Crewmates over Impostors.

I hjave not broken the habit of clicking on general > general when looking for among us - among us general - Which incredibly i started despite being careful.

Example, Tan and Cyan are Crewmates, the shield option switches between one and the other.
Now Tan and Yellow are together, the shield ONLY targets Tan, since Yellow is an Impostor.

Even as solo GA, you have a chance on finding out Impostors by yourself by seeing if the shield target avoids a specific player.

If I’m hosting, I'm not out here swinging the ban hammer over tiny stuff, but I do have a limit - and if someone crosses it, I'm not wasting time. If you join and the first thing you do is spam “start,” especially before the lobby's even full or before I've gone over house rules, that's a kick.
No questions asked. You clearly don't care about how the game's meant to run here.

Now if you come back and do the same thing again? That's not “impatience” anymore, that's disrespect. That gets you banned. I'm not entertaining people who think they can treat a public lobby like their personal playground.

Have you heared about the concept of "balancing" in games?

Comms sabotage disables nearly all crewmate abilities, the ability to look at task lists, use admin map/cams/vitals, all crewmate role abilities, etc… allowing GA to protect during Comms ruins the whole purpose of it, and literally makes it impossible to balance without it, and in the endgame Comms sabotage would mean nothing to the Angels.

people that try to vote you out for being hesitant are another one of my least favorite types in this game, because they reinforce the idea that you should follow what players say blindly if you don't want to be suspicious. these same people almost never give information beyond just accusing the person they think is impostor, and use what the confirmation says to decide if you're next. that's something the crowd should be worrying about, not the accuser, because the accuser should be convinced of their accusation if it is credible—which is why they need proof so that other players are less hesitant

There's definitely a fine line between making Guardian Angel helpful vs outright busted. The issue with unlimited or super low cooldowns is it just gives crewmates too much breathing room - impostors already have to deal with cams, vitals, and people hovering buttons.
If GA could shield every 20 seconds or with a 1:1 ratio of cooldown to duration, you'd get nonstop saves and almost no consequences for bad crewmate positioning. But I also get that 35:30 can feel kinda sluggish, especially if you're trying to time your saves just right and end up missing windows.

Something like 25:20 or even 30:25 would probably keep the role impactful without making it feel like you're babysitting the whole lobby. Still needs to be balanced so it doesn't turn into a second emergency button.

A lot of people for the past couple of weeks have been complaining about this exact issue and yes, this can be very irritating and frustrating especially when it's the bug that caused the temp ban and not necessarily your fault. Until this “bug” gets patched by the devs, this issue will persist as usual.

Imposter tip: When you are playing out your round that you have semi planned and there are other players around, stay calm while doing your imposter tasks because panic decisions cause risky plays and get you caught.

They did accuse ma partner because well obviously they were next to the bodies and didn’t have time to run so he just brushed it off as a ss kill, and they let it slide, another person tried to accuse me but they had no proof so I hard accused them and got them airlocked then I sabotaged comms but since the remaining crew were either too dumb to realize they can’t call meetings during a crisis sab or were just afk/avoiding it altogether we went for the double and secured the easy win, but on the first round there was a button troll so about a quarter of the players left because of them and because the discussion time was WAYY too long

I stay on the nav hallway for a reason on 1v1s.

2 paths to get out (or for the Seeker to get in), invisible to the Seek map, wasting time if Seeker uses cameras, and if everything fails, vent.

Comms is also a common place you’d think you could fool the seeker by hiding in the corner of comms but you’d be far from right

Mainly first check the vent, and then the other places.

People often stay over the vent for quick escape, and you can at least take down the slow beans.

If you're permanently banned, the system already gave you a general category: like harassment, cheating, offensive name, etc. - and that's usually based on patterns or reports. They're obviously not gonna hand you a full essay explaining it.

If you really think it was unjustified, you can still write your appeal and explain your side. But asking for a "more specified and detailed reason" is kind of dodging the point.
You already know what you were doing inside of your account - just own it or defend it properly.

I always have colorblind text on, and I agree with you; it is sometimes hard to remember colors and outfits because Among Us doesn't prioritize color accessibility with these skins, which someone mentioned earlier in a discussion we had about the Racing Comsicube costing stars. Sometimes it feels like they're a blur to me sometimes because of player speed and other circumstances, which you mentioned.

I posit that what we need, more than colorblind text, is colored icons next to those names. This may be a better solution than the colorblind text alone, because it would be easier to see than the smaller color blind text and won't forgo the original name color scheme that Impostors use to distinguish their teammates.

...anyways, yes, we do need an update for better accessibility, because colorblind text should not be a necessity to filter out the colors more easily. In tense situations, no one has time to recall the color behind the outfit. And if the alternative to that is to refer to them by their outfit or their name, then the color distinction loses meaning. We shouldn't have to compromise mechanics and elements of a game to play normally.

You could refer to them by their player number, but you don't have time to remember all that especially when the game doesn't even really give you that information unless you have Submit Scan. That's not a "you" problem for being unable to do that, that's the game's fault for not giving you that information in a more accessible manner; at least, it would be theoretically if a player's number were a standard for player recognition at all.

Shapeshifting on Mira HQ is way more high-risk than most players realize, and it's not just about visuals or even guessing. The sensor system doesn't log your disguised identity, it logs you. Your original color.
That means the moment you pass through any of the three sensors, anyone who checks logs can see exactly where the real you went, not the person you're pretending to be, essentially.

This is critical because if someone sees, say, Red on the left side of the map, but door logs show that Blue passed through the left sensor at that time - guess what? The crew now knows Red is faking, and Blue was actually the one over there. If you've shapeshifted into Red, the deception falls apart instantly.

Y'know, I'm starting to notice in this community that players seem to look down on others for not being able to do certain things in the game. Yes, there are some embarrassing cases among the many that can happen in Among Us, but it seems like a lot of these members are very quick to talk down to other players or tell them that they need to get better and just... be? ...good? I don't know, I'm feeling a sort of elitism here.

And that's the entire trade-off that makes Mira such a fine double-edged sword for Shapeshifters altogether. If you avoid the hallway entirely, you're technically avoiding the logs, yes - but you're also cutting off your own map control. And you're limited to vent routing and sneaky movement between areas such as (e.g. Launchpad, Cafeteria, Medbay, and maybe Reactor via the side rooms), but you lose access to center crossing, which is often the only path to intercept kills or pull off a believable route.

The moment you don't go through the hallway, savvy players will notice too. Like, why is no log activity from Pink if we just saw them in Office? That silence speaks volumes to experienced crewmates. Staying off logs entirely makes you look just as sus in the eyes of anyone who actually reads them. Especially if people are vouching for movements that don't line up with log patterns.
